sounds very unlikely on the top of the mountain, but place is packed and for a good reason. (I gather there must be at least 50 sitting places outside, probably the same inside although it was closed due to covid measures at the time we went . During or after a hike it is the perfect place to stop for a snack or lunch. The scenery with the lake and mountains in the background is amazing. Food super good and tasty, OK so don't expect much of a slimming diet option : this beeing Savoie, cheese is abundant in any shapes and forms. But with a hike I guess it is OK. As mentioned by others, most stuff is localy produced at the farm, at least based on the cows and pigs to be seen around the farm. Make sure you have some extra layers though, even in the summer. Difference between sunny and cloudy is significant in the mountains. They do have some blankets available if needed.

This is a must during the summer months . Stunning setting and stunning food. The plat du jour was the best i had ever tasted. Filet mignon ... meat from their own farm with tasty accompaniments, washed down with house rose wine. Everyone one else in our party agreed,best food and good value. Will definitely recommend and return.

Je recommande vivement une visite ici, c'est vraiment dommage que ce ne soit pas ouvert pendant l'hiver. Les produits sont incroyables et la qualité est fantastique ... le meilleur endroit pour manger que nous ayons découvert en plusieurs années passées aux Carroz... très bien!

Amazing location in front of a lake... you have a walk of 30 min in the mountains to arrive to the restaurante... food is typical from the zone and very tasty. Highly recommended!

Le personnel incroyable et la nourriture fraîche et délicieuse directement dans votre assiette. Une cuisine savoyarde française faite maison, tout simplement délicieuse.
