L'alti 16 - Réserver une table

I visited Maribel with 3 friends on March 2022 for 4 days and this restaurant was walking distance from our rooms so decided to check it out. I was calling for hours to make a reservation and nobody would even pick up but eventually I...managed to reserve a table. When we arrived we were shown to our table and the only waitress pretended she did not speak any English. As I speak fluent French I made the order for everyone which was: 2 entrecôtes, 2 pizzas, 1 cheese and cold cuts platter and their most expensive bottle of wine. I was visiting my sister and her husband, who have lived in Meribel for many years during the ski season. With them, I’ve been to many local restaurants and tonight , for the first time, have felt the desire to write a review. The venue...is small and intimate, the food very good, the service excellent and the cost- very reasonable. If you are on a ski holiday here, you won’t be disappointed with a meal at L’Alti. If you are on a catered chalet holiday, when most chalet staff have the same night off- book early, as good restaurants get fully booked early in the week.

Recommended to us by Chamois ski shop opposite. L'Alti 16 is a great restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is efficient and friendly and the food delicious. Four of us shared some lovely tuna rillettes and then we had their tartiflette which was tasty...and not too heavy. A bottle (two) of good Gamay went down very well. The staff is cheerful and jolly. I am told by my husband that the Poire William liqueur is superb! A really enjoyable evening. Thank you to us!

Big friendly owner who is lively and welcoming. They make great pizza and we tried the tartiflette which was delicious. Garlic bread for starter was a bit burned to our delight but the owner made up for slight loss in food quality with...More

Had a couple of meals here during our time in Meribel, food was decent, good value kids menu (albeit a bit limited) but service was excellent. Attention, friendly and definitely worth a visit.
