I recently had my wedding at this amazing venue and to sum it up it was just magical. It truely is a hidden gem in the heart of Perth and I would highly recommend it to any couple who is thinking of having their wedding here. Matthew is so hard working and he does his best to bring your visions to life. The food is amazing and we had lots of compliments from our guests. Let's just say you will not go home hungry! The venue itself is so versatile for both ceremony and reception. The best part is that you don't need to hop in a car and travel for photos (everything is there). The grounds are stunning and it truely feels like you are somewhere else in the world! You will not be disappointed!
Four of us dined on Tuesday night with the winter warmers $55 3 course menu. The food was delectable starting with amuse bouche Comte cheese and chive tortellini with French onion broth followed by lamb 3 ways featuring celeriac puree, crisp shallots and polenta and for the finale 3 had the maple banana parfait with macadamia praline, fried banana beignet while I opted for the cheeses of the main menu. While the food was incredible the service was even better Daniel was amazing great conversation and attention to detail throughout the whole meal. Highly recommend checking this Georgian manor restaurant out nestled amongst beautiful gardens in the heart of the CBD!
Bel emplacement se cacher dans la ville. Je ne savais pas qu'il existait! Le service était impeccable, une belle liste de vins et aimait les jardins. Tellement incroyable. Je suis allé avec le Gnocci Hummer - attendait quelque chose de plus de la cour. Il y avait un arôme manquant et je devais ajouter du sel que je ne fais jamais. La portion de homard était généreuse et les fruits de mer se fondaient dans sa bouche. Le gnocci était un peu trop spongieux à mon goût. Ne serait pas commandé à nouveau. Le dessert du mousse au chocolat a essayé, riche et divin. Alors yummmmmy.
For a main, ordered the crisp fried pork, octopus and chorizo. Was disappointed with portion size. In addition to the sauce, dish consisted of two very small cubes of pork belly, 1 piece of octopus about the size of a scallop and a slither of chorizo. Could possibly have passed as a small entree but certainly not a main. Others at our table ordered the chicken and their portions were adequate. Otherwise many positives. Big Date Nuit la nuit dernière. Lamont trouvés. Quelle déception. Boulettes de poulet et bouillon inimaginities et insipides pour le début. Impossible de ressusciter avec du sel .... Snaper goûté cuit et pas de sauce. Nous avons rejeté le désert de peur d'une autre catastrophe. Bonne réputation, mais vous avez perdu le bord. Vous calculez toujours une fortune. Qu'est-ce que ....? Mettez ceci sur votre danger!
