My first experience with Lamorinda was at their Moraga location ~6 years ago, so when they opened up in Alamo, of course I had to see if it was as I remembered it. It 's still some real good quality 'za! I appreciate that you can do a half/half pizza, so we ordered an extra large (an estimated 16 slices) half the eden, half LP . This came in handy for a family of 4 who wanted variety, and it was the perfect size. Only minor cons: The sausage on the LP was dry, and I was only expecting sprinkled parmesan on the body of The Eden, not the crust as well, which made for a slightly messier eating experience, but nothing I can 't overlook...
I previously reviewed Lamorinda Pizza and felt it only appropriate to update my review and confirm my prior compliments. Simply put, they do pizza right. It is always fresh and delicious. They offer some other tasty treats as well, cheese pinwheels or garlic knots fresh, mouth watering and so delicious you can't get enough. I've tried a few of their pizzas and keep coming back to their Margarita pizza order it with extra cheese! I don't know what they put in their dough, but it has a subtle taste of honey. The sauce and cheese are just right not too tangy in the sauce. Definitely, one of (if not) the best pizza shops around.
I usually order from these guys every other week. It's good pizza for California, but CA pizza is overpriced and pretty much sucks. Today, I ordered a pie to go and they said it would be twenty five minutes. I get there 30 minutes later and call them to tell them I'm outside. After 20 minutes of waiting the girl comes out and says they are busy and it will be another 30 minutes. YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT WHEN I ARRIVED. Instead you make me wait!!!! WTF! IF YOU CANT HANDLE THE ORDER DO NOT TAKE THE ORDER!!! BUSINESS 101 U lost a repeat customer
Margherita with extra cheese ... my go to. Well, it's really my 3 year old's go to! She loves the cheese. Lamorinda is a great pizza shop period. They have a tantalizing selection of different pizza's, including the tried and true classics, like a good ol' Margherita. The staff is pleasant and have adapted well to the new normal. Order up your favorite and when you drive up they'll bring it outside for you with a smile. Delicious pizzas and great service, what more is there when you need some pizza?

The pizza is super good! you do have to remind them once in a while not to burn the pizza. Lol! Didn't get the staff name but he told me that I overpaid by $10. I told him that's for the tip jar! Nice to know there is still a teenager/s out there working hard to make a buck in an honest way. Bravo!!
Can't resist their Margherita ... worth paying Hmm is this too short? I know they wanted to go all cash before covid but the policy changed. Hopefully they get a good deal from banks and keep accepting credit cards.. hate to miss this spot for minor inconvenience.
By far the best pizza place in the tru-valley area. My favorite is the combo aka the throw back and also love the barbeque chicken pizza which is spicy and yummy!!! No place to sit but have it delivered as they are fast.
The staff are friendly, and I really enjoy the pizza. It's even better than Round Table or Extreme Pizza. Plus, the prices are reasonable, and the taste is excellent.
