I randomly chose this restaurant based on online reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. As someone who frequently eats out, I can be critical, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations for a Saturday night dinner. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and there were plenty of options to choose from. My only complaint would be the wine list in terms of variety and pricing, but they had the basics covered. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and happy with my meal. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good dining experience.

Our first return in quite sometime and things have not changed. The quality of the booking communications, the welcome, the range on the menu, the excellent cooking and good wines make this a must go to location for us. There is a warm and pleasant atmosphere from the moment you walk in to the minute you leave. Starters were good sized portions as were the mains and the quality of the produce and the skill with which it was prepared and presented make this a notch above most other places we have experienced in Derbyshire. A return is on the cards sometime soon.

We hadn't been to this lovely restaurant before, but our friends had and accompanied us. We were given a great table by the front window for the 4 of us. We were very impressed by the food, ambience and servers...lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning !

The food at this restaurant is exceptional, beautifully presented, and served in a charming atmosphere by attentive and friendly staff. I last visited two years ago while on vacation and it was just as wonderful this time. I highly recommend it. Réservez une table maintenant

We were here this time last year for my birthday which was excellent and amazing food same time this year still amazing food and service we will be back next year. If you want good food and excellent service then you need to go here.

Lovely little restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere in the middle of Ashbourne. Food was lovely and the proprietor friendly and engaging. Definitely use again on a Ashbourne trip.

We had a wonderful meal this evening. The salmon on the Christmas/Winter menu was just incredible. Highly, highly recommended.
