Visited this delightful Italian restaurant while staying at a hotel in Ramstein. We found the food to be exceptional and obviously fresh and authentic. The owner makes his guests feel welcome and at home. Never a rush. Although the food is served promptly, nice and hot and is beautifully seasoned, you are welcome to leisurely enjoy your meal and that last glass of wine with no rush at all...we have to ask for our bill when we are done.We have eaten there twice this week. The Baked Lasagna is exceptional, the Pork Cordon Blue exceeds any expectation, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the Rump Steak. Might add that the portions are generous and the prices reasonable. Do not miss an opportunity...
My family and I have visited Lanciano’s many times over the past 16 months since we moved here. Every time we have been,Niko (the Man!) has taken great care of our family. They all treat us like family and serve the best Italian food around. The food is fresh and always very good. We have tried many dishes from the pizzas, schnitzels, pasta and salads; we have never been disappointed. My family likes to drink water with our meals, Niko provides a pitcher of water free of charge, that is very rare in this area and helps with the bill. If you are looking for a great meal and excellent service, Lanciano’s is your place to dine.
Stopped by for dinner in Feb 15. Nice place, run by an owner couple, so it has a personal feel to it.. The menu is quite varied, and mostly hinged on Italian dishes. Service is prompt and the food is very good. What's more, the prices are very decent. Like many restaurants in the area, I don't think they take credit cards, but it's worth taking cash with you to ge there. They also cater to small groups
Been dining with Nico (and his wife) for over ten years, at least! Most recently in November 2014. The food is always tasty and filling. Appetizer crusts are delicious, the salads are excellent. Wines are good matches for the foods. Nico is always a pleasant host and Anna works hard in the kitchen. Great cappuchino to top off the meal. We look forward to our next stopover in Ramstein.

First visit for our family. It seems like the patrons of this restaurant are regulars. Service was quick and pizza is ultra fast. It was good. We also had cordon bleu which was greasy. The man serving us was friendly, especially to our grade school and pre school-aged children. High fives and smiles. Ice cream was included free whether the children finished their meal or not.
Nettes gemütliches italienisches Restaurant. Der Inhaber bedient meist selbst. Pizza und Pasta schmecken hervorragend. Ein Geheimtipp ist das Parmesanschnitzel mit Spagetti. Während der Sommermonate gibt es Sitzplätze im rückwärtig gelegenen Garten. Eine Auswahl italienischer Weine runden das Gesamtangebot ab.
Wir waren mit Freunden das erste Mal bei Lanciano. Die Einrichtung ist veraltet, die Toiletten grenzwertig, die Pizzen waren ganz gut, der Service sehr wortkarg, nicht mal nachgefragt ob es geschmeckt hat, ausserdem wurde abgeräumt während am Tisch noch gegessen wurde. Das empfanden wir störend und unhöflich
You feel right at home and welcomed when you come in here. We dine often, ordering lots of different dishes, and have never had a bad meal. Nico and his wife are wonderful to the kids as well.

I love the home made Italian sauces. The spaghetti was super great salads and very nice selection of wines. It is a go visit it again restaurant.
