This is a fantastic Fish and Chip shop. A quick look at their website shows the number of prizes they have won they have been voted in the top three chip shops in Scotland on BBC TV. They do a range of different types of fish with chips and are promoting alternatives to the traditional, but endangered, Cod and Haddock. They also do pizzas, wraps, chicken and other takeaway staples, plus a range of Mackies Ice Creams and of course proper glass bottles of Irn Bru to wash it all down. Great little fish and chips shop. It takes a few minutes for your order but they are pretty quick about it. It's a boatload of food for next to nothing. They also have a small, free parking lot (car park for the Brits) by the door which isn't obvious from the street. You can pretend that's the outdoor seating. It took me about 20 minutes to drive over from Strath Clyde but it was worth it. I recommend that everybody in the area make the trip if you're in need of a fish and chips fix.
Love this chippy. You'll wait a little bit, which means everything is fresh and piping hot when you get it. The fish supper usually has two pieces of fish, so you could get one fish supper between two people pretty much. The fritters are also really good and worth trying. Get the sauce on the side (or buy a wee bottle so your batter doesn't get soggy, and sit in your car in the back car park to eat it as fresh as it comes. Don't forget the pickled onions :
Went last night(Monday) hoping for a fish supper and a bag of chips, sign saying no haddock only cod so ordered a haggis supper and bag of chips. Had to wait mins and then only sold sachet tomato sauce sachets at a pop....Wasn’t the greatest of suppers I’ve had to be honest. won’t be returning any time soon.

First time I've been to the land n sea for a couple years me and my partner Frances fish n chips go there I said be worth it the chips were rotten waxy tatties the fish was greasy tasteless batter burnt won't be bk again...what happend to this shop award winner to really poor
I sometimes get food from here and it's really good fish and chips, 11/10, would recommend, the fact that there is a lot of fish and chips places like this, this is potentially one of the best I've been to, it was really great, and it's definitely the best in falkirk
So happy to find a decent chippy with vegan options. Sausage supper is great so it haggis supper and nuggets. Even better is hat you can dip it in the curry sauce!
Ordered x haggis suppers and all came with a portion of the worst chips ever been served by a chip shop anywhere. Dry, scraggy and tasteless. Truly awful.

we were stopping nearby and decided to go here. The meal was lovely and no complaints except the price compared to we what pay at home in Yorkshire.
Good chip shop but if you can I would phone and order your food before you go they never have anything ready
