A super located hotel located in the middle of many hiking and tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the rooms are not as you imagine. The bathroom is much too tight, you have no place for its clothes if you want showers, and also the old carpeting could be refurbished.But the rooms are really clean and the beds are very nicely prepared, even if the slatted grate was replaced by a board, which unfortunately had a shoulder pain. The food is delicious and there is also quite a lot of choice, but the sausages and cheese plates are not sufficiently cooled. Also, these are still released yesterday, which can be seen on the still lying fresh holding film. In addition, the filter coffee is really not...
Made reservations for Easter dinner while we were out in the Frankische Schweitz checking out the Easter fountains. I liked the trip advisor recommendations and thought we'd check it out. The service was good but the food was better! The venison schnitzel was amazing. My wife's roasted lamb and my mother in law's Horse Radish Roulade were amazing as well. Dessert was a huge strawberry cream puff. Prices were very reasonable. Nice locale. Friendly staff. Recommend a visit.
Good food here. Quiet location, parking available, many recreational activities nearby, perfect for a stay in Franconian Switzerland. Activities nearby: Teufelshöhle, Burg Pottenstein, beautiful hiking trails, Schöngrundsee with possibility to go to the boat, super toboggan run and much more. Food drinks: Delicious Franconian dishes, the portions are abundant.
Have lunch. Well tasted and also plentiful....but we had to wait almost 1 hour after our order for food. Operation (man) very nice and humorous. You don't get an ashtray outdoors but you have to put yourself in a stand ashtray!!

A nice restaurant, interesting selection, friendly staff. Enjoyed our selection and would recomend it were it not for the flies. They really need one of those blue light fly zapping machines
