The Landgasthof Rebstock is located on the passage of the Volkacher district of Escherndorf, an intoxicating beautiful village on the Main, very picturesque, very weeping. It can be very good here, especially in May, when the lilacs flourish, the trees and asparagus are served from the region. The vineyard with its surprisingly blue façade radiates through a central location, a rustic interior and – relatively new! – through an outdoor area behind the house. There was plenty of sand and the area was fenced with wood and natural materials. Here you can sit shady under trees and the spring sun unprotected. There is a psychiatric clinic next door to this place, and all the patients (who aren’t allowed to drink in the clinic) come here. Smoking permitted outside on the terrace. Very loud inside. Personnel friendly and prices OK. Be prepared for lots of drunken loud...psych patients who all bog off at to make their curfew.
