The inn is located from Waltenhofen and B19 coming, Exit Niedersonthofen, right on the road at an angle to Lake Niedersonthofen. In front of the building deck chairs invite to sunbathe, there is a winter garden building on the old building. Standing in front of the building it is not easy to find the entrance between all the decoration objects. The interior is divided into several smaller guest rooms, all furnished with lots of wood in rustic style. We ate here at lunch for three. Ich durfte hier eine wunderschöne Hochzeit begleiten. Ich wurde super freundlich aufgenommen. Das Essen war hervorragend und auf höchstem Niveau. Besser geht es nicht. We were eating today 03.01.24 at the Landgasthof Sonne. We immediately noticed how child-friendly this inn is. You only see that very rarely. A game for kids to play so that parents can eat in peace super sweet children's dishes (with their own children's card). The food was great. Anytime again! Tip Top!!!

Wir saßen draußen im Wintergarten . Der Service war super und auch das Essen war lecker. Das Ambiente empfand ich als etwas seltsam. Dass es am Eingang auch Kühlschränke mit Getränken und allerlei Schnickschnack zu kaufen gibt, passt irgendwie nicht zum sonstigen Ambiente des Hauses. Service: 5
The food is excellent. The cellar was very friendly and accommodating despite a full restaurant. We felt very comfortable and come back soon. It is recommended to reserve a table in advance.
Definitely the best cheese from all over the area (also recommend the rest of the food very much. Super child-friendly: games corner, crayons and even toilet pads in both toilets. Top!
Always worth a visit We were from the Saarland to visit and Saturday morning to the White Sausage to eat.
