Very rustic and cozy. We arrived here on the way through Saturday night with our daughter. The farm was unexpectedly very well visited. But we still had a table. We had cheese parrots and Cordon Bleu, and there was no wish for drinks. Everything was very delicious. The service here was also 1A, we felt very comfortable and had the feeling that the inn is operated with a lot of love. Every guest was king. We thank you for the wonderful food and the beautiful atmosphere. Absolutely visit. Very quaint and cozy. We stopped here with our daughter on a Saturday night while passing through. A colleague and I are in town on business, and Zum Baren is about 20 yards from our lovely Airbnb apartments. It's a really convenient location in a town without much else going on, so it was a pleasant surprise when it turned out to be an excellent family-run restaurant. We have eaten here for lunch and dinner, weekdays and weekends, probably a total of ten times over the last two weeks, and it never disappoints. We've had delicious pork knuckles, pork roasts, trout, steaks, veal, venison, everything. The potato dumplings (personal favorite) are perfect, and the green salads are always fresh and tasty. We're in Thüngersheim for the fifth time! The first evening is a must to get back to the farm to bear! The food is super here! Staff very nice and accommodating!
