We enjoyed the stay with five nights (depending on the opening hours: Friday to Wednesday) and a daily changing “convention menu”, 4x four-course menu and 1x five-course menu (consisting part of the pleasure board). Already on the day of arrival we were warmly welcomed in the “Gasthaus zum Kreuz” and via the processes, such as breakfast times, the dinner menu, the use of saunas (panorama, bio and infrared sauna; with a wonderful view) etc.
The Gasthaus Zum Kreuz in Sankt Märgen is simply wonderful, here you can go well! The rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated! Outstanding the culinary delights of the restaurant! Here dogs are not allowed — on the grounds “Love guests, we like to be alike, therefore dogs are not allowed in our guesthouse!” (O-Ton of the website). The Gasthaus Hirschen in Fröhnd is one of the best guest houses in the South Black Forest I know. The menu is not too big and not too small. What you order is just great. I can only give (5 stars) though they deserve more Réservez une table maintenant
Cosy rooms, super beautiful wellness area and the 4 courses menu in the evening was just divine. We liked it very well and we are going again this year, we look forward to it.
Very friendly and accommodating service. There's someone else when it's empty. Very good slaughter plates, we were there yesterday at the butcher's place.
