L'Androuno - Réserver une table

We were staying in Draguignan to attend a wedding nearby and needed to find dinner on a Sunday night. We found this place on Tripadvisor and decided to try it. Draguignan itself felt a bit rough round the edges but the restaurant was in a very pleasant, stylish courtyard and felt like a little oasis away from the rest of the town. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. She spoke very little English but we managed to get by with our limited French. She recommended a special of truffle risotto, which I ordered. It was beautifully cooked, very creamy and with generous shavings of truffle. My friend had risotto with crayfish, lemon and coriander which was also good. Other diners were eating steaks and seafood which all looked nice. For dessert we shared a creme brûlée. It was good value and I couldn't really fault it. I doubt I will return to Draguignan but if I do I would definitely come back to this restaurant.

Draguignan is not the sort of place you would spend a great deal of time in - very plain in comparison with all the beautiful and historic towns and villages in this part of France. We were passing through on the way to our holiday villa and didn't fancy the numerous bar / bistro type places next to the market.........so found this a couple of hundred metres away. I had the really excellent house burger, whilst others had large and tasty salads. Nothing complicated but done well and pleasant service.

Stopover on our way to Italy dinner with our French family, tables are set out within a rear yard area, a very warm evening, informal environment which feels a bit claustrophobic, food is OK but our Sea Bass was held and was difficult to fillet on the plate, Draguignan is a pleasant town and has a good offering of restaurants

We were welcomed pleasantly, and the courtyard was quiet and cool. Service was quick and the food nicely cooked. A great place to use if you are in this pleasant town.

Instead of choosing one by one we have tried a Menu and the price/performance ratio was good. The French menu was good for a dinner.
