LANDWEHR-BRAU am Turm.

We were here twice, the first time we were exhausted from the plane ride but did note that the bier was excellent. We went back another night and met up with an English couple (Pam & Peter) and had a great evening. This is one of the only places we could find to have a bier after 9:00. There were actually some locals there so it was not all tourists. The tavernkeeper (Daniela) was friendly and seemed glad that we enjoyed the bier. We did not eat here so I cannot comment on the food. This place is small but does have a biergarten in the back but we did not sit there as it was rather chilly.

Superfreundliches, aufmerksames, junges Team! Schönes Kneipenambiente. Hat so viel Spaß gemacht, dass wir während unseres 7-tägigen Aufenthaltes jeden Abend, außer Montag=Ruhetag, hier waren. Haben auch einmal was gegessen (Spätzle mit Champignons, Cheddar, Tomate, Rucola und Zwiebeln) und ich kann kann nur sagen: „Leckeres Essen, süffiges Bier(mein Favorit: Landwehr Helles), gut gelaunte Servicemanschaft. Absolut empfehlenswert! Top!

Extrem positiv überrascht. Tolle vegetarische Gerichte. Das Restaurant hat zum einen sehe leckeres Bier und eine kleine aber sehr gute Karte mit vegetarischen Gerichten. Und das ganze auch noch zu super Preisen. Hebt sehr deutlich und positiv von dem allgemeinen Touristenallerlei mit Haxe und Schnitzel zu Mondpreisen ab. Geschmacklich wirklich herausragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Sehr leckeres Bier, guter Wein und vor allem sehr freundlicher und herzlicher Service. Die Jungs und Mädels waren schnell und stets parat, wenn das aktuelle Getränke leer war. Wir haben dort nicht gegessen, die kleine wechselnde Karte sah aber lecker aus. Unbedingt Mal besuchen, wenn man in Rothenburg ob der Tauber ist. Réservez une table maintenant

Place is very well located at the south entrance of the town. The building is very nice and deco as well....beer and food is nice however they do not have craft or a big selection as you could expect. The worse...the time they take to serve you...its horrible...but the service is nice

This appears to be the oldest building in a very old town. I forget the exact date but I believe the tour guide said 1265. And the building is still in use. It is very interesting to think of how many discussion have occurred over a beer in this place. Very nice.

New owners, extremely good food super atmosphere. They came by spontaneously and were very enthusiastic. I hope this restaurant will become a new Rothenburg institution!
