I stayed in the hotel for 6 weeks while on business. I had the occasional breakfast, which was always good. The selection from the buffet was not huge, but the quality was good. I had dinner three times only. The quality was good, but as I was a single guest, the table I got was right next to the entrance to the restaurant. This was not ideal. The room was perfect, roomy enough that I did not feel closed in. The bed was nice and firm. The pillow was huge and very soft, not good. I always travel with my own one (80 X 40 cm and firm), so this was not an issue. The staff were friendly to me and the room was kept clean. As it was winter time, the outdoor terrace was not used. But just looking at...
Eating was fine. I was supposed to have been watched and turned out to be a troublemaker. However, there was no reason to do so, except for ordering the most favorable positions of the card in view of prices. I had a double room, I got a single room. The double room was also charged. When checking in, it was done so if it were normal. Only after a complaint to the boss was the balance reimbursed. This was not very friendly, so if he had anything to hide. I will not visit the hotel, even if it is in my field of activity. There are better alternatives. Absolutely unprofessional! So no recommendation!!!!
The location in the old town of Annweiler, right on the dyke with the rotating old bike in the middle of the guest room is spectacular, the establishment homely and cozy, in the stone oven flickers the fire for the pizza and the Italian host family provides its guests charming and relaxed with very good dishes from their home. The rooms offer a lot of comfort, are quiet and offer a great view of the mountains and castles of the Palatinate forest, even at night. I'm happy to come back!
Unfortunately we had to visit the Risorante today To the water ad, it was our last visit there first. The food lasted not only very long until it came to the table, the pizza was partly burned, the supplement salad was missing the sauce and a completely false pasta dish was also served to me. As an excuse, I was allowed to pick up a glass of liqueur. The service and the price-performance ratio are no longer valid here.
