I attended a gathering at this restaurant following a funeral. The food was quite tasty, but the service was lacking. It's essential for the wait staff to be friendly and welcoming, rather than appearing rude or indifferent. When I asked for some fish from the buffet, the server responded as if I were requesting her own meal, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. I hope they can work on improving this aspect.
If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. I live nearby, and this restaurant is extremely inconsiderate with its music. My child struggles to sleep during their events because they blast loud music from around 10:30 or 11 PM until 3 or 4 AM. It's absolutely ridiculous. People are trying to get some rest, but the noise makes it impossible. This behavior is unacceptable. Something needs to be done about this!
The seafood buffet on Thursday nights is truly fantastic. The live music adds a calming atmosphere as you enjoy the genuine Haitian cuisine. However, the choice of bottled wines could be better, as they only have Sutter Home available. The restaurant has a great vibe, with many friendly customers that enhance its inviting environment. I highly recommend it!
I was there for a repasse after a funeral. The food was good. But the service was fair. Make sure you wait staff smiles and is friendly to guest. Not rude and unengaged. I had a fantastic experience at the Haitian New Year's Eve party held at this venue! It was well-organized, with delicious food and premium drinks. The live bands were outstanding, making it an incredible celebration. Everything came together beautifully for a truly memorable Haitian party!
I visited the restaurant for a meal and found the atmosphere to be inviting and spacious, with a nicely sized bar. I would rate the food a 7 out of 10. I can definitely see myself returning in the future to enjoy a meal under different circumstances.
Was there on 11/05/22 for my aunts death. Thank you for letting our family spend time together. The food was good I didn't even know haitian food was around the corner from my house will be back
This is the best classic Haitian restaurant! If you want to be taken back to the 1980s, this is the place to visit. It provides an incredible nostalgic experience and a fantastic ambiance. Réservez une table maintenant
We reserved the space for a repast for 100 people this past weekend and the experience was phenomenal great food excellent management. I wouldn't hesitate to refer them for future events.
