Lao Sze Chuan Champaign

A reservation for 1:30. Our table was given away to a party with fewer people and our total wait was over an hour. We ordered appetizers and drinks, they always had to remember bringing drinks. Beer was warm. 1/2 dinner came before all the appetizers. She had to ask to take the 1/2 dinner back and bring the appetizers first. THen had to go to get our own cutlery and find someone who brings us water. Finally the appetizers got and then dinner with 5 of our orders came only. Two more orders came 15 minutes later. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!! Will not go back here unless it's my last resort.

Have eaten at several lao’s in the Chicago area and expect the same great food in Champaign. I was more than dissatisfied. The difference in food quality was night and day. Beef and broccoli came, so it might have been soup. The server forgot to enter one of our entrees and when he came out, although he presented beautifully, it was just like a Panda Express entree.

Authentic kitchen and menu. Wine was just $5, but only pour a 4oz.
