This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. I had a taste for calamari. I found it on a Google search “Calamari near me”. First I was impressed by how friendly Bau was. The decor was very pleasant and it was clean. Bau was very nice explaining the difference between the Thai and the Lao style Papaya salads, and the spice level. Small family run restaurant but bar none the best Lao food I've had in the bay. Flavors were popping and everything was really good! The best thing was the red curry crispy fish. Really crunchy and paired very well with the rice. Will be back for sure.

Amazing food, great service and friendly staff! My go to place for a comfort meal anytime of the week. Vegan Nam Khao is amazing
So good. With so much Thai competition in the area I try to mix it up with restaurants but this one is definitely my favorite.
