This restaurant was recommended to us by some French friends who live in the area. It's in a nondescript part of town but easy to find and plenty of parking space, we were welcomed in by a very nice team who were keen to help us in English. The menu itself is limited as other reviewers have pointed out so we all opted for just two courses. The amuse bouche was delicious and the restaurant was happy to cater for one of our party with dairy intolerance. The starters were enjoyable enough although I was a bit disappointed with mine, I appeared to have a burnt piece of gaufre however I was assured that it was black because it contained squid ink, whatever, it was it was tasteless. My main gripe was with the main course, two of us opted for duck which seemed to be mainly skin with very little meat attached to it sitting on a bed of finely chopped vegetables. I'm afraid it was very disappointing compared with other meals we have had nearby. The dessert served looked very impressive and apparently tasted wonderful as well. All in all though a nice evening out and I would probably give it a second chance.

Three of us booked for dinner, and all had 2 courses. The set menu is quite simple - a choice of 3 starters and then 3 mains. There is also a 'comptoir' menu which looks like 'specials' but also seems to iCloud's bar snack type of food. We all had an amuse-bouche of foie gras and mascarpone topped with a rhubarb sauce - nice. Two of us had prawns on a lovely crispy cuttlefish-ink gaufre (more a waffle than a pancake). This was very tasty. The third member of our party had the house mi-cuit foie gras, and declared it excellent. For mains, I had a beautiful risotto topped with fish. My husband had Iberico ham that had been cooked in salt. Glad I didn't have this as there was too much fat. Our daughter had steak tartare, prepared out of sight so presumably the raw egg was already in. All three mains were excellent. No puds, one coffee, one bottle of Côte du Rhone. Petit fours for all of us. Total about €125. The only slight disappointment was that we weren't offered an aperitif, but we didn't see anyone else with one. Trying for a quick turnover? We will go back.

Our meal was amazing, different than anything we'd ever eaten. Fantastic service with a smile and great english! (thanks for that!) The chef shaking hands with us at the end just made the night perfect and memorable forever. Thankyou for a wonderful experience! Highly Recommended!
