We stopped here after seeing "burger auvergnat" on the menu for 15€ with chips and salad. Unfortunately the hamburgers turned out to be an industrial type bun with an overcooked beefburger, a lonely slice of tomato and hardly any sauce and cheese, the chips are thin frozen ones and the salad was probably the only fresh ingredient on the plate. I was also surprised by the fact that the waiter never asked how we wanted our meat, first time I've seen that in France for a "restaurant" burger. The food wasn't actually terrible but no good at all for the price, this was probably worth 10€ at the most. Celebrated our son's 9th birthday at the resturant. Friendly and welcoming staff, good service and excellent food. Our waiter advised us that we had ordered too much food and assisted us in paring down our selection, he was right as we only just managed to finish the revised order. We had the stuffed peppers and frio grais de maison to start, followed by the truffade, rib of beef, steak and pork rib all excellent and fairly priced. Although we didn't order the tripe with lentils it looked very tasty too.
La nuit où j'ai mangé à L'Arbalete, c'était le seul restaurant ouvert à Murol et donc il était assez animé. Mais je suis arrivé tôt et j'ai été installé à une belle table en plein air. L'endroit semblait simple et accueillant. Le service était très sympathique. J'ai pris une truffade qui était assez savoureuse, mais aurait dû être placée sur un réchaud de table pour la maintenir chaude. Néanmoins, avec une belle bière, c'était un dîner agréablement simple.
