This is a small bar restaurant in the square at Besalú... we were welcomed by the waiter and made very welcome despite our minimal Spanish. As it was raining he was busy checking that people were not getting wet and drying chairs and tables. We chose the €14.50 menu and enjoyed the patatas d’Olot and cannelloni to start. They were clearly pre prepared but served piping hot... we then had the lamb and frites which was 3 well seasoned chuletas with fresh and crispy fries. Finally we had the cheesecake and crema Catalana, which was a little over browned but perfectly acceptable. The menu also includes beer or wine... good value I would say.
