"What’s happening with some of the country beach clubs in Westchester? They used to be much nicer. I visited this place for an event, and everything seemed fine at first. However, when I tried the food, I felt nauseous. Meeting the executive chef, who I think was named Tony or Anthony, was even worse—he was quite unpleasant. I truly feel sorry for anyone who has to eat his food. Overall, my experience here was terrible, from the service to the attitude. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place."

Here’s what happened: the manager instructed one of the waitresses to serve an uneaten dish from one guest’s plate to someone else at the table. Everyone at the table was shocked by this behavior. I confronted the waitress about why she was taking food from a guest who hadn't finished it. She explained that her manager had ordered her to do so to serve it to someone else. 2 stars, one for the pool and the other for the view. The beach was dirty with litter and the workers were sitting doing nothing. I asked a life guard if anyone cleans the beach and she pointed to the guy who was sitting next to her and said that 's his job So he got the hint to do his job. The worst part of all this , is that I spoke to the manager on duty to ask him if anyone cleans the beach and in a disrespectful tone, he said it was cleaned at 9am mame. 9AM, it was 3pm when I asked him, The tide comes in and dumps litter every few hours, are you SERIOUS!!! My daughter held her wedding reception at the Larchmont Shore Club last weekend, and I can’t praise it enough! Rita, the Banquet Manager, was absolutely incredible. From the moment we chose this venue until the wedding day, she was incredibly attentive and focused on customer service. The food was fantastic, and the staff was exceptionally professional, always quick to refill glasses, clear empty plates, and offer assistance whenever needed. Recently, another woman of color entered the club. Just five minutes later, I noticed the gate attendant along with what appeared to be security approaching her. I moved closer to listen to their conversation and heard them accusing her of providing the wrong number, and they were nearly ready to kick her out. She presented documentation, but the gate attendant only responded that he needed to check the system and asked her to wait. When he returned, he hesitantly offered a half-hearted apology. I was just at the shore club in December as a guest. It was my first time there and although it was the first time I had been there I have to say that overall it was the best place I have been to for an event in a long time. The food was amazing! Good food is important but beyond that everything was honestly wonderful. The staff was great as well, all super friendly and helpful. It was a very busy night as well and I felt like they did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly while still being able to attend to guests. Due to the overall experience I would definitely love to go back and I would love even more to have an event of my own there.
