My wife and I found this place on the walk from our hotel to the University. The café is run by the University and has some very good food and low prices, There were many people standing and sitting at small tables in the bar area but we chose to sit in the back at a lunch table and order off the menu. We had a large cured meat and cheese platter , large Enselada Mixta , bread, desert and 8 glasses of wine for a total of 32 euro. Then stumbled back to the hotel and took a nap. A perfect afternoon
I knew about this place because of some research I was carrying out in Salamanca. Not an easy place to find but worth the effort. It might be for students but everyone we saw inside was well over 40 years of age. The food was excellent and the wine good quality and great value. We would have loved to have seen it pre pandemic, maybe it will return to the students once the world moves on from COVID-19.
magnífico restaurante! la comida era deliciosa, con precios económicos, y el servicio era espectacular. Se me cayó un cuchillo y, sin preguntar, me trajeron un 10 segundos más tarde. La música también era muy relajante y los baños eran muy limpios. Se lo recomiendo a cualquiera.
