We dropped in to the restaurant without a reservation on a Sunday lunchtime, and the place was heaving. We did manage to get a table, but the service generally reflected the fact that the staff were run off their feet. We wanted to eat a rice dish, but were told that they needed 24 hours notice to prepare this. We were left with the usual Andalusian fare of fried fish, although what we did eat was fresh and well cooked. We were intrigued by a dish called calamares de tierra land squid) which turned out to be fried onions and aubergine, very tasty. Generally a good experience and would like to go aback to try the rice dishes sometime.
We ate at the Las Dunas in July 2013. We entered the restaurant at about 8.30PM and were the only people eating in the place on a Wednesday night. The service was horrendously slow. My wife ordered the Corvina which was served with sautéed potatoes and of all things in Spain, frozen veg. The portion was quite large, however you pay by the gram. The fish was fresh and nicely cooked. My grilled chicken breast was ok but came with freshly cut fries which were good. Other than the lack of service the meal was fine but the place is quite large and when no one else is dining it has no atmosphere.
There hasn't been a review for a couple of years but this is a very popular place especially with Spanish families. We had good clams and salads to start then excellent Turbot, Corvina steak and octopus. After starters we were given a complimentary plate of prawns! All dishes well presented and tasty. We were then given yet another complimentary plate of cakes and desserts. Very generous. Restaurant is large with indoor and outdoor eating areas. It got busy on a Sunday from about 3pm, so Brits can eat earlier.
We have visited this restaurant during our family vacation. For kids the restaurant is great as there are nice playing ground outside. The service was good. The meal was average. I have ordered grilled tuna and the fish was very dry and too much grilled. The other meals were ok. We received a very nice plate of great desserts as a present from the kitchen.

the site is very pleasant surrounded by nature and with ease to park. the very good food, we asked for several things because everything caught our attention, and everything was very rich. they have details as they invited us to a salad and a very good dessert. attentive and fast service. The price is fine. We'd repeat if we went back.
We have been visiting this restaurant, many times over the last 15 years, and the owners run a great restaurant. The food and prices are excellent. Our only comment is that it lacks atmosphere and during the evenings they should start to fill the front of the restaurant first, especially during the quieter months.
I have been there twice during my August vacation. I tried the seafood (excellent and excellent price [10 euros] , the rice 20 euros two person... They offered us a salad and deserts for free. Total was about 30 euros, all included, ending completely full up. Really reccomended
all great, as always. We usually go with the family very often. We were always exceptional and very friendly. We were on Friday afternoon, it was late and we were treated with no problems. Today Sunday we return with the whole family.

Huge restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for families but a bit warehouse feeling because of size and very bright lighting. Food ok but nothing fantastic. Staff not very friendly but it is good value.
