I was so happy to see Therese and her husband, the brains behind the Las Empanadas at the past Food Circus event. I came a bit too late since some flavours were sold out already, but my friend and I were still able to snatch the tasty chorizo and corn stuffed pastry sprinkled with white sugar. Later on when we went to Inglewood Monday Market and Twilight Market, we got a chance to try other flavours that they had. great small food truck with authentic tasting empanadas. I love empanadas, but I am often disappointed because my best friend is Argentinian and makes her own empanadas, as I know how good they can be and have very high expectations I tried the mais, cheese and chorizo empanada and the filling was very delicious with excellent pastries. I thought the dusting of powder sugar on the top was different, but worked well with the hearty aromas. we finally made it to the Monday inglewood night markets and decided to try as many small dishes as we could from the different stands. the chorizo and the cheese empanada was a perfect little snack that we walked along the busy st. we also got the vigin sangria, which was refreshed in the warm night. I'm not a big fan of food markets because I like to eat at a table and I'm really creepy so that eating tends to end up over my jeans, but these are delicious bite-size tasty that don't end up on their clothes.
Before today I've never tried empanadas. I first heard of empanadas on Modern Family, where Gloria's empanadas were rejected by Manny because his, then, girlfriend told him it has too much saturated fats. Since then, I've wanted to try authentic empanadas. I've seen pictures and imagined it was similar to a chicken pastie. That all changed when Mrs. M told me I had to try Las Empanadas and right now they're conveniently located at Food Amongst the Flowers in Claremont Quarter.

Love it!. Really enjoyed the beef empanadas, my hubby liked the cheese and corn. Love how they make their own pastry and its ovenated, and not fried! Quality was great eg beef wasnt mince but hand cut scotch fillet, the chicken was poached and hand shredded. highly recommended!
I first tried Las Empanadas back at City Wine in July, when I saw them set up at Unwined over the weekend I raced over a purchased a couple for my gf and I. F*cking delightful, I've now tried the beef, cheese chicken and can't wait to have them again! Great work guys
Best Empanadas in Perth. Best empanadas in Perth hands down. Tried the other ones can't compare to these. They use quality produce (ie. scotch fillet) for beef empanadas. Definitely worth every bite. Also the lychee sangria is amazing!!!
as a Peruvian guy who leaves almost a decade outside of peru, read empanadas was a delicious moment I will not forget. his empanadas have that Peruvian taste I missed and even the lime was ready to couple with my empanada!

I had the katsu sando burger. was delicious. cost on own faust or with chips. it is deep fried katsu on a Brioche beer with Japanese marinated shiny. yum!
Best empanadas in town. The beef empanada is so flavourful, the cheese and corn was also amazing and the pastry is perfection! Must try.
