L'As Gourmand - Réserver une table

I stayed at the As Gourmand and had lunch, dinner and breakfast there. I knew the accommodation was cheap and cheerful with the loo on the landing, but was surprised it was down stairs from my room, and was tiny. The food was ok and plentiful but I feel the place is certainly not 'gourmand.' It's more hearty and cheap and cheerful. The owner is very pleasant, accommodating and hard working. I wanted to leave early and she went out of her way to provide breakfast at 7am which included fresh fruit. That clinched a 4 star review rather than 3.

The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and was very pleased to have us (we were the only people there). The menu of the day is extremely reasonably priced at 20 euros however the food does reflect that somehow. The egg starter was delicious but the beef main and creme brulee were both disappointing. The beef was incredibly tough and not a suitable cut of meat to serve as steak and the creme brulee was barely cooked! Shame as it started so well.

plusieurs halte dans cet établissement n'ont fait que confirmer les impressions positives. Un accueil très chaleureux à souligner . Une belle terrasse coté jardin, un parking privé et des prix très sympathiques !Ici on pratique le métier à l'ancienne et c'est bien agréable !

Les langoustines du plateau de fruit de mer étaient bleue vaseuses et non mangeable, la viande était froide et le service laisse à désirer aucune attention envers le clients... je déconseille.

Eating dinner on the island is limited so we were a bit weary as 'captive audience' but we were pleased with our meal here.
