After reading great reviews of this restaurant we decided to book a table. We could not get a table until 9.30pm which was alittle late for me however the setting was lovely and the restaurant was really busy so we thought to ourselves the food was going to be good. When we got our table we were asked straight away would like drinks, but as we had already looked at the menu we also ordered our food. We were served our drinks and 15mins later our starters arrived which was great. 40mins after our starters we were still waiting for our mains finally 1hr 15mins later we got our mains. We had to get a table at 7pm which wasn’t a problem, service was good but the food was shocking. We had muscles in a white wine sauce. The sauce the muscles came in tasted like dish water and garlic, we did assume it would be a creamy sauce but none the less I would not recommend it. €12.50 For the main we ordered Paella a staple in Spain. What a let down the presentation was good, but the execution was terrible. The rice was undercooked and the dish was so bland we barely touched it. €40 Down the drain. Will not be returning.
Our first visit to Las Olas was for a beer as we had already eaten, but even though we weren't having food we were made very welcome and when it turned a little chilly outside we were invited into finish our drinks inside. We came back twice more were totally delighted with the whole experience. The food was local, fresh and beautifully prepared and presented; all personnel were professional, friendly and helpful; the location (by the sea) was perfect too. Overall I can highly recommend Las Olas.
El sitio está bastante bien. Carta limitada a tapas platos del día pero siempre que hemos ido ha estado bastante bueno. Mecla entre platos franceses y algunos vietnamitas. Como contra el dueño, que es el que suele atender, es algo seco y desentona con un sitio así pero tampoco es que llegue a ser desagradable. Réservez une table maintenant
