Even though this restaurant presents itself as a snack bar and thus limits expectations, it 's a plain tourist trap. We ordered the mixed tapa platter, thinking pride of regional dishes/ingredients would enable a success...unfortunately, nothing on the platter was tasty. The patatas braves were overcooked -as was everything else, except for the fried cheese, which was undercooked- and some basic spicy ketchup substituted for the traditional tomato sauce. The 'Manchego ' cheese tasted like ordinary cheese, it lacked that typical flavor and texture. Overall, I 'm also disappointed in myself for not returning the food, which we should have done, considering the very poor quality. To be avoided...
Este sitio esta ubicado en la playa de calpe lo que sigmifica que en este pequeño var hace mucho sol casi todos los dias de verano que es en la epoca que yo recomiendo ir.Los empleados son agradables con los clientes aunque hay algunos que se les olvidan muchas cosas y cometen muchos fallos.La comida esta muy rica te pueden ofrecer helado,cafe,aperitivos,y postres y bebidas.Todo muy rico.Lo que me gusta bastante es que tienen sillas al interior o al exterior porque si algun dia hace mucho frio puedes meterte y tambien es todo muy acogedor.Ami me encantan que sean muy agradables y humildes que es muy importante. yo lo recomiendo de aperitivo pero tambien esta bien para comer.
Fantastic place! Doctors order to stay out of the sun, so found the ideal place!Same guy serving all week, always smiling and no sooner had I sat down on second visit my deliciously cold Estella arrived.(with complimentary nuts).One day ordered the chopitos for a snack and could not believe portion! So good came back next day with wife and daughter and order again to share.Best chopitis all holiday! My girls drop me off here and then go to beach . Perfect place to sit ,relax and watch the world go by.
Menu of the day selection: salad, then chicken and chips. 1/2 bottle of wine not included in menu). Total came to 24.90€. I was told it was a 40€ bottle of wine so I got a discount! I’ve never seen a bottle of 22€ Anywhere. The service was only if I called. The place was virtually empty. The only bonus was the bread and alioli was good. My first and second choice restaurants were full and I was hungry I’m still hungry! However, they do great cocktails during the day.

We popped in for a lunch. There was a separate menu for pasta dishes choose your pasta and a sauce. Ordered 2 carbonara with tagliatelle. I had to ask the staff where the order was after 40 minutes of waiting. Eventually arrived spaghetti not tagliatelle, measly amount of unseasoned, bland sauce on top. Son's fried egg looked like it was cooked the day before, rock hard yolk and crispy bottom. Should have realised why the place was empty!
Este bar me gusta mucho porque hacen unos cafés muy ricos mucha variedad de helados y camareros muy majos.Se está muy bien porque las mesas y las sillas están al exterior y en verano te da mucho calor.Esta bastante bien porque puedes bañarte y cuando te seques puedes ir a las palmeras,por último cuando te tomas un café o algo te dan una galletita muy rica.Lo recomiendo mucho porque se está muy bien y pasas un ratito muy bueno
Been in calpe a week had a few rude waiters/ waitress's... Called in here for a sangria after a beach day with 2 kids...and wow what amazing lovely people... Matt and the gang couldnt do enough made a fuss of us and kids xx and made our holiday perfect for family's amazing sangria... we are coming back tonight xxxx thanku x
Hello, wednesday evening July 21st we ordered 3 ice creams for take away: 2 x small cup with 1 scoop ice cream 1 x medium cup with 2 scoops ice cream. The indicated price was: 2.60€ 1 scoop 3.80€ 2 scoops Total 9€…..by checking my bank account, I saw you charged me €15.20 ! This is really a scame!

Just eaten lunch here chicken caeser salad with next to no chicken and served totally cold chips when I spoke to the waitress she just said sorry we're using the restaurant next doors menu and the original review named then but the review was las palmers we will not return
Staff are friendly enough and it overlooks the beach. Wife and daughter say the cocktails were well made. Bit of a soulless place. Not worth the bill way overpriced for what it is. Overall not worth coming back to.
