Lascala's Pronto, Mount Laurel

I told the guy on the phone I would do a negative review, he said basically to please do that, so.... HERE IT IS! An hour to deliver, they, according to their website were making it for an hour. When delivered, LOUD knock at the door. i jumped. NEVER in 10 years have I had a delivery driver knock like that. When confronted he laughed, and thought is was funny, and asked me if I was still hungry. When I called the store, the employee refused to give a name, after having no issue with the late order, or the Driver 's contempt. Took a look at the food, and I am not hungry. Garbage. I waited over an hour while watching TV in my living room to be close to the door. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the driver, who left the food outside in the pouring rain. As a result, the bag was completely soaked. The steak sandwich was made correctly, but the chicken cheesesteak was missing the extra cheese I had requested. When I called to express my concern not only about the missing cheese but also about the soaking wet delivery, the driver claimed she had rung the doorbell three times, which was not true! I had one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time, and it felt like a total waste of $60. The calamari was incredibly chewy, almost like bubblegum, and it tasted like it had been cooked hours earlier and just kept warm. The chopped salad was not at all like the one at La Scala's in Pennsauken. The pizza was decent, but the cheesesteak was underwhelming. We visited a few months ago and had a good experience, but tonight was a big letdown. I'm very disappointed.

LaScala's Pronto has a very modern design. The interior is clean and there is plenty of seating. The booths and tables are very nice and I like the setup. Unfortunately, the pizza is unremarkable. The plain slice was thin and crisp, but also very dry, with only your average cheese and sauce. The white was oily and cheesy with decent spices, but still just your average slice. The restaurant wasn't as good as I remembered. The calamari tasted like it was pre-packaged. They also messed up my to-go order. I ordered Chicken La Romana with artichokes and olives in a lemon caper sauce, but instead received fettuccine in a cream cheese sauce with peas and shrimp. Overall, disappointing.

I was really excited for this byob. I heard great things about it. Sadly, my husband and I did not have a great experience. The food was bland (we ordered the seafood& pasta with a cream sauce and the rigatoni vodka with shrimp). Both dishes lacked flavor big time. And they forgot our appetizers.

I had a great experience with LaScala’s Pronto, I tried the new menu and is good to know that they are back to the LaScala’s group. The food was delicious and they deliver my food on time. Definitely trying their food again soon

Ridiculously good food, I’ve ordered many dishes from here and not have disappointed. My absolute favorite is a pepperoni and extra cheese Stromboli, fantastic. Also there cheese fries are to die for with the white cheese sauce Réservez une table maintenant

I ordered through Slice, and my delivery was greatly delayed. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. To top it off, the restaurant was closed the next day.

I recently had one of the best chicken bacon ranch slices I've ever tasted! I will definitely return to explore more items from their menu.
