Delightfully located restaurant with bags of charm. The menus are thoughtfully presented with a wide choice of freshly prepared local produce. The restaurant has a bright terrace for outdoor eating in summer, well worth trying. The midi menu is great value with plenty of choice and there are options on how much you want to eat (1 to 4 courses . The evening menu again presents just single plat or the full blown gourmond experience (includes all you can eat frogs legs on Thursdays!! Overall the friendly greeting from the chef and staff makes eating in Salt a not to miss experience.
Nous avons passé un réveillon du Nouvel An vraiment excellent à l'Assiette Saltoise. En fait, si cela s'était arrêté aux apéritifs, cela aurait déjà été mémorable! Mais il y avait encore une cuisine sérieusement bonne à suivre.... Rien d'ostentatoire ou prétentieux : simplement de la bonne cuisine directe. Et, comme toujours, un accueil chaleureux. Dans l'ensemble, une excellente soirée. (Je vois qu'un groupe d'invités pensait exactement le contraire. Eh bien, rien n'est plus étrange que les gens ...)
Nous traversions juste cette zone en voiture et avions un logement non loin de cet endroit. Nous sommes arrivés à l'ouverture et de la première minute à la dernière, le propriétaire et le personnel ont fait de leur mieux. Le propriétaire est une personne très sympathique ! Le service était excellent! Le menu est vraiment grand et il y a une bonne variété de plats ! Notre nourriture était super ! Le vin rosé était fantastique ! Je recommande vivement cet endroit ! Merci pour cette belle expérience!

We were just driving through this area and had an accomodation not far from this place. We got there as they opened and from the first minute till the last the owner and the staff gave their best. The owner is a very nice person! The service was excellent! The menu is really big and there is a good variete of food! Our food was super! The rose wine was fantastic! Highly recommended this place! Thanks for the great experience!
Client régulier ici mais nous continuons à y manger car c'est si bon. Ambiance, qualité de la nourriture, présentation, accueil, etc. Nous avons pris la formule du jour à l'heure du déjeuner, un si bon rapport qualité-prix. J'ai pris un steak et ma femme a choisi la morue. Les deux étaient servis avec une délicieuse salade mixte et des pommes de terre frites maison. Une cuisine française exceptionnelle.
J'ai été plusieurs fois à l'Assiette et je continue d'y retourner car c'est un restaurant charmant. Il y a beaucoup de choix, que ce soit dans le menu du midi ou dans la carte plus gastronomique. Les 5 gambas et les plats de veau sont mes préférés, mais j'aime aussi essayer les spécialités régionales, généralement préparées avec des ingrédients locaux et à des prix raisonnables.

Been to the assiette many times and keep returning as its such a charming restaurant. Plenty of choice still from the midi menu to the more gourmet carte. The "5 gambas" and the veal dishes are my favourites but I also like to try the regional specialities, usually made from locally sourced ingredients at good value prices.
