"This restaurant is just amazing, this is a must-do experience if you spend some time in Bandol. The dishes are pieces of art, the service is great, people are very friendly. The chef introduced himself and was passionate about his "art". Highly recommend"

A collrague and I got there just by chance and were really hungry. We ordered the most expansive menu for 52 euros.Everything went wrong and they were not in control of the situation:- took them 15 minutes before bringing us some tap water anthough we had asked for it as we sat down. They forgot our "mise en bouche" and brought us the starters directly (we thought ok never mind). The starter was fresh fish tartare and nicely arranged but well too salty, a real mistake of the chef. They then forgot our main and brought us directly the cheese platters...we of course told the waiter and had to wait one hour before getting our main.My seabream was delicious but it was not completely clean. But overall nice taste.Deserts were just a no go. I don't even know if they were home made or bought from a bad quality pastry. To sum up: way too expansive, horrible service, good food but definitely not a WOW for the price paid.

The food here is interesting, sophisticated, and delicious, and the restaurant environment is very nice, on a small street, with bit indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor seating. I ordered several courses and all of them were excellent except dessert, which was surprising flavorless. I see a similar comment from someone else about dessert, so it is something they really need to work on.Service was very poor. I had an appetizer, entree, cheese service, and dessert. It was only me, so I was not talking to anyone and ate my food as soon as it arrived. And I was there for 3 HOURS! Just extremely slow to bring me each course, which really became frustrating after a while. They do not have enough help to deal with all the clientele.

New owners and new chef. Food is very good and more reasonably priced than beforeThe €32 menu comprising mise en bouche , entree, main and dessert is good value with 2 choices at each courseSuperb pea velouté or geleé de tomatoes followed by lamb shank or tataki d'espadon which were excellentProblems with service however with courses presented in wrong order not just at our tableThe final insult was being charged €4.50 for un carafe d'eau which is always free in French restaurants. It was delivered in a posh ground glass bottle with screw top but was not mineral waterIf these issues were sorted out it would be a welcome addition to Bandol's improving restaurant culture
