the food was okay, the pernir had no taste that was missing puerto rican pizzazz! the red beans and white rice were good. but the owner who worked there himself was worse; he was hot sweating, no air conditioning at 85 degrees, cooking the food, manning the phones and the front. He was very rude and evil on all customers makes them never want again. he needs help that he was all challenged, it was on the customers who are not good, my daughter placed the order on the phone, he was evil on them and bad on me and another customer when I went to get the food. this place has changed definitiw! next time I will drive to perth amboy for the delicious pernir and welcome puerto rican restaurants wit...
The food at this restaurant is decent, but not worth the high prices. The experience they provide should not come with a gourmet price tag. During my recent visit, I noticed that all the utensils were either paper or plastic, and the waiter even asked us to help ourselves to our drinks in the refrigerator. Their service is on par with no-frills, family-run Puerto Rican and Cuban restaurants in cities like Perth Amboy, where the food is just as authentic but much more affordable. Even with the current gas prices, it's worth making the drive to those spots instead.
I saw their sign a few times as I was going by and decided that I should stop in and check it out. The placed smelled amazing as soon as entered. The people were friendly. It wasn't a busy time of day when I was there. I ordered grilled chicken with mojo sauce with sweet plantains yucca fries, pasteles, margherita empanadas. Everything was amazing!!! I am definitely going back and would definitely recommend thisnplace
I was so excited to order food from here and unfortunately, was let down. I ordered the palomilla and the meat was gross and rubbery, rice and tostones were edible but not great. I ordered through Uber eats and left a request for limes…never got them. Don’t think i’m brave enough to give this place another shot.

Delicious!My husband magically found this gem on his way to a park and picked it up on a whim. The Cuban sandwich is to die for! Reminds me of the places back in North Jersey. My husband had the Picadillo and he loved it. The Rellenos de papa are a must try! Hope to have all the other things on their menu soon!
This is the second year that we have enjoyed dinner from a Latin Bites food truck at the Middlesex County Fair. We ordered chicken empanadas and tostones. The empanadas were filled with juicy chicken and the tostones were hot and plentiful. The person cooking and serving our food was friendly and funny.

Food was great and the service was friendly and attentive. Living in the Princeton are, it's been hard finding a Caribbean Latino restaurant and this really hit the spot. Definitely comfort food.

Better watch out when booking them. They might drop you for something better, which is exactly what they did 3 days before our event. Shame on you and the way you do business. So disgusting.
