This restaurant, in its current format is new. New management have been in place only for one month and it is now a Lebanese Restaurant. We, a party of five, went today and one of our party asked for Vegetarian food which request was readily...and quickly accommodated by the management. The remaining four in our party elected for the formula 'Gourmet '. I believe that our general thoughts in selecting the Gourmet meal was that our understanding of Lebanese cuisine was lacking and therefore, by selecting the Gourmet offering, we would get to sample a variety of dishes and we did. The food was divine ! At first when we arrived, I did feel that the service was a bit slow and that the staff were...
A warm welcome, a terrace by the river, an inventive menu a la carte which concentrates on carnivorous main courses with unusual vegetable combinations as a garnish. But we were lucky enough to dine there on the first Saturday evening of the month when Chef does a 6-course gourmet meal with wines and aperitif included for 56 euros. That time it was focused around fish and seafood - scallops with boudin, smoked haddock with beetroot, seabass and oysters... all accompanied by a selection of 3 different Rose wines. We'll definitely be back again... and again.
Took our host to lunch on way to La Feniche concert in Sens. Setting was idyllic, right next to Yonne river. Three-course lunch was delicious ad very much to our liking (Farm-2-Table). Gazpacho had ball of tomato sorbet under fresh basil leaf - amazing! Beef and pinot sauce as well as local fish fish were both great. Very reasonable St. Julien wine. Our host was not familiar with the restaurant only 40 minutes from their summer homeland was going to return with his wife. It was beautiful.
Le restaurant propose une grande variété de plats libanais frais incluant du hommos, du taboulé, du falafel et des épinards sautés. L'endroit est très calme dans la petite ville endormie de Misy-Sur-Yonne. Nous avons apprécié notre déjeuner sur la véranda couverte avec vue sur la rivière. En cas de beau temps, assurez-vous d'être assis à l'une de ces tables couvertes. Le prix était un peu élevé et le service un peu lent, mais si vous n'êtes pas pressé, c'est une excellente expérience. we were four friends yesterday in misy. the restaurant was recommended by friendliness. we received a very cordial greeting by the owner and the local waitress. the menu was comprehensive and clear, the exquisite dishes were served immediately. we tried two bottles of Lebanese wein and found them both very convincing at a reasonable price. we'll be back soon.
dans ce restaurant avec un coupon box. nous n'avons pas été déçus. la nourriture est de la plus haute qualité et le propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillant. il y a une terrasse au bord de la rivière avec une belle vue sur le paysage. le service est sympathique et efficace. je reviendrais certainement dans ce restaurant.
