Les habitants ont recommandé ce restaurant de village situé dans une ruelle à côté de la place principale. Le restaurant est un établissement local simple, tant pour les locaux que pour les touristes. Il ne prétend pas être autre chose. Jean-Christophe et Patricia les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et font de leur mieux pour répondre aux besoins des clients et des enfants. La clientèle est normalement un mélange d'artisans et de professionnels locaux français, de touristes et retraités anglais et de touristes et retraités néerlandais. Nous ne pouvions pas nous tromper lors de notre merveilleux repas en famille dans un superbe endroit avec un parking à proximité. Le service était exceptionnellement détendu et attentif, sans être intrusif. Les besoins de tous, y compris ceux des enfants et des végétariens, ont été satisfaits avec le sourire et la bonne humeur. Il n'y a eu aucune plainte de personne concernant la nourriture qui était de haute qualité et pas chère. Une si agréable surprise après tous les problèmes liés au covid. Notre auberge précédente préférée a changé de mains, mais s'est tellement détériorée que nous n'y mangeons plus. Having visited this restaurant for the third time I thought that it was about time that note was made on their service and good food. The first two occasions that we ate there were as a part of a large group booking I never expect...too much food wise with these as it is difficult to put out a large number of covers at the same time and with good quality food , however one lady served all of us ! all the food was piping hot really delicious and we lacked for nothing amazing !! The third occasion was when we visited for a plat du jour this week,,again, great service and really good food . These people deserve to be supported and congratulated on a job well done !!
we saw the signs on the most important connecting roads and thought we had to find these auberge only, as we read that it had the best meal in the district all true. during the man boiled, the madam served beautiful tasting local tariff, with my...husband vegetarian (and dessert) needs ideal for. we parked under the shaded trees to walk the center of the village degagnac and the block down to the restaurant of the auberge. sitting inside or outside, nothing disappointed in this authentic environment. eating is the shade, but it is worth going, even if they need a coffee.
Just back from our second visit from this great little restaurant, we'd go again, except we return home tomorrow... So, if you're after something fancy then don't bother, but if you want good, basic food for a very cheap price then this is the place...for you. Four courses, including two bottles of wine and coffee for €28 in total for myself and my wife incredible value. Super friendly owners too and very attentive with the waiting. Totally love this place, but if you're a bit pretentious then maybe give it a miss, eh?
En séjournant chez des amis localement, nous sommes venus dans ce joli restaurant en tant que couple avec une jeune fille. La dame qui le possède est la seule serveuse et est très occupée mais elle est très attentive, donc le service était excellent. La quantité de nourriture servie... pour le prix était également incroyable, mais ce qui l'a laissé tomber était la soupe en conserve trop liquide (d'où les 4 étoiles), mais le reste de la nourriture était délicieux.
they have been going to this restaurant for 24 years. wonderful rustic. recommended by terence conran. good service, great value, varied menu. we will continue to enjoy here for many years. when they are in le lot, it is worth visiting degagnac. beautiful herbs...Garden close to. Unique spicy business in the village, stand hundreds of spicy from around the world,The auberge is a great place to eat at the locals for a lunch they will remember!
Déjeuner brillant en 4 services pour 11 euros, vin inclus. La nourriture est de très haute qualité, mais ne vous attendez pas à autre chose qu'à de la bonne cuisine locale et copieuse. Il vous faudra être un bon mangeur pour tout gérer. J'y vais depuis de nombreuses années et j'espère y aller pour encore de nombreuses autres années.
