Jean-Christophe et Patricia les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et font de leur mieux pour répondre aux besoins des clients et des enfants. Locals recommended this village restaurant set back down a lane next to the main square. The restaurant is a simple local establishment for both the locals and tourists. It makes no pretensions to be anything else. Jean-Christophe and Patricia the owners are very friendly and do their best to accommodate the needs of customers and children. This little auberge, for me, sums up the great cuisine of France. We visited this auberge following the positive comments on trip advisor. Previous guests were not wrong! Tonight's meal was probably one of the most enjoyable and tastiest meals that I have ever enjoyed in France. Although the menu offers only regional produce........don't expect pizza or burgers......the quality of the food was exceptional. The duck, lamb and steak are to be particularly recommended and before our main meal, we were offered a turine of potage(soup) with never ending baskets of crusty local bread. The ambience is calm and relaxed, with only one waitress who is very pleasant and charming, so we were not fluster...
Nous ne pouvions pas nous tromper lors de notre merveilleux repas en famille dans un superbe endroit avec un parking à proximité. Le service était exceptionnellement détendu et attentif, sans être intrusif. Les besoins de tous, y compris ceux des enfants et des végétariens, ont été satisfaits avec le sourire et la bonne humeur. Il n'y a eu aucune plainte de personne concernant la nourriture qui était de haute qualité et pas chère. Une si agréable surprise après tous les problèmes liés au covid. Notre auberge précédente préférée a changé de mains, mais s'est tellement détériorée que nous n'y mangeons plus. Having visited this restaurant for the third time I thought that it was about time that note was made on their service and good food. The first two occasions that we ate there were as a part of a large group booking I never expect too much food wise with these as it is difficult to put out a large number of covers at the same time and with good quality food , however one lady served all of us ! all the food was piping hot really delicious and we lacked for nothing amazing !! The third occasion was when we visited for a plat du jour this week,,again, great service and really good food . These people deserve to be supported and congratulated on a job well done !!
Just back from our second visit from this great little restaurant, we'd go again, except we return home tomorrow...So, if you're after something fancy then don't bother, but if you want good, basic food for a very cheap price then this is the place for you. Four courses, including two bottles of wine and coffee for €28 in total for myself and my wife = incredible value. Super friendly owners too and very attentive with the waiting.Totally love this place, but if you're a bit pretentious then maybe give it a miss, eh?
En séjournant chez des amis localement, nous sommes venus dans ce joli restaurant en tant que couple avec une jeune fille. La dame qui le possède est la seule serveuse et est très occupée mais elle est très attentive, donc le service était excellent. La quantité de nourriture servie... pour le prix était également incroyable, mais ce qui l'a laissé tomber était la soupe en conserve trop liquide (d'où les 4 étoiles), mais le reste de la nourriture était délicieux.
Staying with friends locally, we as a couple with young daughter came to this pretty restaurant. The lady that owns it is the only waitress and is run off her feet but is very attentive so the service was great. The amount of food given for the price was also amazing but what let it down was the watery canned soup (hence 4 stars) but the rest of the food was lovely. Réservez une table maintenant
Déjeuner brillant en 4 services pour 11 euros, vin inclus. La nourriture est de très haute qualité, mais ne vous attendez pas à autre chose qu'à de la bonne cuisine locale et copieuse. Il vous faudra être un bon mangeur pour tout gérer. J'y vais depuis de nombreuses années et j'espère y aller pour encore de nombreuses autres années.
