This is a place where you want a decent little meal. The good thing is that they are opened somewhat later than most neighborhood restaurants and most of the time the service is good, not always, but most of the time. (We eat there a lot because we like to eat too late. The food is okay, not spectacular, but good. It is a NY Greek diner, so it has an extensive menu and they try to offer interesting dishes. Some of the foods are too salty for me, but you can not request salt or spices, so this is an individual thing. The prices are a little high. Walking in was like a scene from an old timey movie. The wait staff sat us down immediately and brought us some waters. Shortly after, the waiter brought a plate of pickles and coleslaw...which was very off putting being from the Midwest were we usually get bread or chips. We ordered the spicy tex Mex rolls appetizer which was delicious. The food we ordered after was very well priced and the portion size was gigantic...the server even MADE me a Chipotle mayo for my fries. We've been in New England on vacation for about a week and this is the best breakfast/lunch/dinner spot so far. The waiter at the end went out of his way and gave our daughter a massive cookie to go home with. Very satisfie...
Outstanding as always. From seating to eating everything was exceptional. I brought a friend from FLA.who also travels extensively and remarked who hard it is to find a place that executes the perfect sunnyside up right to which he said "I think I 've found it '! My patty melt was perfect and as ordered. Everything was piping hot. Being as we haven 't seen each other we weren 't in a rush so we spent quite a bit of time conversing and catching up and were never rushed. And none of that annoying hovering by the wait staff. Perfect all the way around. Kudos to the staff and take note management. In this high tech environment common human courtesy and respect are a rarity in the service industr...
I’m a huge breakfast fan. Being in a band for so long, we also frequented our fair share of diners over the years. This place is definitely a Long Island staple so I don’t need to substantiate it...but I will. Hands down I can tell you, this is the BEST French toast I have ever eaten. The staff are great, it fills up pretty quick but can hold a lot of people. Cool spot on Main Street means great location for fueling up and then going to do other errands. I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. I absolutely loved it! The food was excellent, and the ambiance was truly captivating. The service was also great, although it can slow down a bit during peak hours. The pizza options were outstanding, featuring some unique choices that even surprised me! Overall, it’s a wonderful place to visit, especially with friends and family!
