Food was just ok but prices were appropriate. The one drink I got was fine. Waitress was ??kinda busy? Seemed like she could chat up the regulars but valiantly avoided any eye contact or offer of further service after we got our food. Yes I could havemade my way to the bar to order myself but it got to be kinda funny to see how many times she could walk through and not takeany further orders for drinks or other food. I would have gladly spent more money at this establishment but staring and waving(several times) had no effect. An expert eye-averter. This continued after the rest of the area cleared out. Won?t be back. Cannot recommend.
Kind of a run down place but maybe that's what keeps the prices good. We were there for dinner on a Sunday night and it seemed relatively busy. The service was only okay. I think the wait staff was also doing the cooking and bartending so they were maybea bit tired or something. We'd probably go here again though because our sandwiches were good. My boyfriend got the baconcheeseburger and I got the grilled chicken sandwich. We also got some wings as an appetizer. They have a pretty good selectionof beer too.
Place is okay, but it's definitely nothing special. I like the hole in the wall vibe, but it's starting to just look run down. Very uncomfortable chairs in the dining room and everything felt kind of sticky. The burger was decent, but nothing to writehome about. Everything is a la carte and the sides/appetizers left much to be desired. Just standard frozen...nothing homemadeor special. I probably won't be back.
Yesterday after the Badger game we walked the Laurel to get dinner. The prime rib was excellent as always but I ordered the steak sandwich medium rare with fried onions. The first bite was good and then the rest was all gristle. I couldn't even bite into it. Instead of the waiter asking me if he could get me something else he just told me I should have ordered it medium. Very disappointed.

They offer the BEST CLAM CHOWDER EVER!!!! [seriously, y'all! i HATED every kind i tried before until just a few Months Ago, 32 years into Existence ???? . Also, YAY yummy WALLEYE FRIDAYS!!!! Everything is Good Here, Really ????
Great food and drinks! They support local sports leagues and are conveniently located next to Wingra Park. You can let the kids enjoy the playground right behind the parking lot before heading in for lunch or dinner.
Delicious food, friendly staff, and an overall fantastic experience. I tried the BBQ pork sandwich, which was the special of the day, and it was excellent. Everything I've tasted here has been really flavorful.
I order takeout from this restaurant about once every two months, and I'm consistently pleased with the food! The staff is also very friendly.
