Sunday Review If you have a party of 8 or more, you might be SOL if you don't call ahead. The restaurant is limited where they can't seat multiple large parties. This place is tiny! They have a small lot for parking, free. If the lot is full, you can either park on the street or in the large lot west of lazy lobster. Sunday is all day breakfast, so feel free to sleep in and come here a bit later than the usual breakfast time. Yay! The menu is standard and the prices were reasonable. The Lobster Egg Benedict was on the special today. They also have your standard eggs, omelet, scrambles, Benedict, burrito, french toast, and pancakes. You can always substitute any of eggs to egg whites only for...

While the fish on my $18 sandwich was fresh, it was small in poorly seasoned, served on a dry bun. No tartar sauce offered, no lemon supplied. The fish was maybe half the size of the bun. Same issues with the lobster roll. It wasn 't bad lobster, just poorly executed in a small quantity on too much lettuce in an undressed bun. $53 lunch for 2 for barely average food, with adequate service. You look at the progression of what the lobster rolls looked like in the photos here on Yelp a couple years ago and you can see the change from large bountiful chunks of yore to the little shredded bits in the current-day photos. It 's a shame. But, I should have known what I was in for the minute the meal...
So disappointed and we definitely won't be going back. My kids were served raw chicken tenders not slightly undercooked but the middle 75% was completely raw. My son ate a bite before we noticed and now we just hope he doesn't end up with food poisoning. When we brought this to their attention, they apologized and brought out new chicken tenders for the kids a few minutes later. Unsurprisingly, my son couldn't even eat them because he was so grossed out. They didn't even offer to refund us the cost of the kids' meals, let alone the entire cost of our $70 lunch. I suppose we could have complained until they refunded our meals but my son just wanted to leave. Everyone makes mistakes but good r...
They 're not kidding about being the lazy lobster. We waited a half hour to sit and an entire hour for our food. With that said, our breakfast was excellent. The orange juice was fresh and my eggs over medium were absolutely perfectly cooked. Boyfriend got the Eggs Benedict and gives it a 4/5 but only because he says they skimped on the homefries but the eggs were delicious. Now for the homefries deeelish. The ultimate homefries are amazing. They have bacon, cheese, scallions an sour cream on them. They sound like they 'd be sloppy but they 're not at all all perfectly well done. Overall the wait was annoying but the food made it worth it and we both agree we 'd come back. Réservez une table maintenant
Possibly the worst dining experience my friends and I have ever endured. We came here for breakfast on a Friday morning and no other customers were there (1st Red Flag). After waiting 30 minutes for our food we were served throw up on a plate. In order to avoid us calling the health inspector they gave us the Family discount but I would never subject my family to the dog food they served. As we were leaving we got a quick glimpse into the kitchen only to see a 12 year old chef, probably the same chefs who 's hair we found in the home fries . My poached eggs were about as dry as the dick drought I am on rn.
The Lazy Lobster was the first place my boyfriend and I tried in Chatham. It was conveniently located near our accommodation, so we decided to give it a go—and we were not disappointed! To avoid a wait (there was a 15-20 minute wait for lunch), we sat at the bar. The service was excellent from start to finish. One of the owners was hosting, and she was incredibly friendly. The bartender was also warm and engaging, making for some enjoyable conversation. The soft shell crab sandwich, which was a special that day, was delicious! We can't wait to return!
I discovered this restaurant on Yelp, and the food photos looked pretty appealing. My husband and I were eager to try the crab cakes and crab sandwich, but unfortunately, neither was available. Instead, we decided to try lobster rolls for the first time, and they were absolutely delicious, although a bit pricey—we paid $28 for just one lobster roll and two coffees. I suppose most eateries in Cape Cod are on the expensive side, possibly because they're only open during the summer. Nonetheless, that lobster roll was truly amazing!
The servers were inattentive, and if you choose to dine here, be prepared to exercise a lot of patience. To make matters worse, our appetizers arrived only after our main courses, and only after we pointed out that we hadn’t received them. The menu includes both lunch and breakfast items, however, lunches are only prepared starting at 12:15. If you arrive earlier, you either wait longer or have to opt for a breakfast item instead. It would have been far better to head to a diner instead. Réservez une table maintenant
Food is great. Huge lobster roll which was falling out of the bun and delicious. The **** Mary was amazing. The only issue was the atmosphere. Owner/manager sat in the middle of the bar with all of his stuff blocking anyone from being able to enjoy the bar. Thought that was rude. But the waiter was very nice and the food service was fast.
