Notre premier dîner en France lors de ce voyage et un lundi soir, il y avait peu d'alternatives à ce restaurant. Nous étions donc très satisfaits d'avoir réservé et encore plus heureux lorsque le serveur/barman très sympathique parlait très bien anglais et nous a informés... qu'il avait retenu une table sur la terrasse à l'arrière du restaurant. Le restaurant était très fréquenté, toutes les tables sur la terrasse étaient prises et les deux salles à manger étaient pratiquement pleines au moment de notre départ. Notre table était au centre de la terrasse et le temps était parfait pour manger en plein air, chaud et ensoleillé, mais avec suffisamment de grands parasols pour nous protéger de la...
Sélectionné par Tripadvisor, nous avons choisi ce restaurant Bar Weinbar... Parking gratuit sur la route entre 12h et 14h... indiquez la façon de vivre à la française que la nourriture est importante ! J'ai choisi le plat du jour. Bar avec safran... sauce et haricots rouges. Les haricots ne sont pas mes préférés mais malheureusement ! Bien préparés et j'ai mangé le poisson. Dessert : une magnifique coupe de fruits frais. Ma table a également choisi de l'agneau et du poulet. Les deux étaient délicieux. Seul bémol étaient les Pommes à la française. Elles étaient trop molles. Le dessert : Crème brûlée, salade de fruits et Pana cotta aux fruits rouges étaient très bons et délicieux, comme Lucill...
After we just tried to find another restaurant closed we found in Le 2M. Although it wasn't open for half an hour for dinner, we were invited to have a drink in the bar and to study the menu, essential to us as none of us... speak a lot French! At 7.00 we showed a table in the surprisingly spacious restaurant, which is not visible from the outside. We had a nice evening with all of us who enjoy the food. I had noodles, my husband and son in the law had Burger and my daughter had the chicken and Chorizo Kebab. All well cooked and delicious. Service was really good and not too expensive.
Nous nous sommes arrêtés au 2 M pour prendre un verre et mon groupe de 5 personnes a partagé une très délicieuse bouteille de champagne à un prix abordable. On nous a également servi un pain plat apéritif complémentaire. Nous nous sommes assis au bar et avons dégusté nos bulles et notre collation après avoir traversé la vieille ville de Château - Gontier. La nourriture que nous avons vue avait l'air incroyablement délicieuse et le personnel était très accueillant envers notre groupe qui parlait peu français.

. Not very interesting from the outside, it looked small and gloomy. But once inside it opened up like Dr Who's spaceship into a sizable dining room which quickly filled up of an evening until it was bursting at the seems! Full of happy people...enjoying fast, furious and friendly service (the waiters must have been exhausted by close of play! and good food from a menu with an excellent choice. We found it by accident, but would love to go there again, on purpose. .
Tonight was my third visit here. I simply cannot give a negative view of Le 2M Even though I travel extensively throughout Europe,(I'm a Continental Truck Driver) this is buy far becoming one of my favourite places for dinner. The Management and all the Team...are first class. Although it's a limited menu, quality is not in limited quantities!! Attention to detail, cannot fault. Once again, looking forward to my next visit. Well done.
Très cosy restaurant en face du centre-ville. Nous avons pris un menu 3 plats pour 21 euros (entrée, bouteille d'eau et digestif inclus). Pour ce prix, nous avons été vraiment impressionnés par la qualité des plats. Le personnel était très amical et serviable. Une excellente recommandation pour le chef et le personnel.
Stopped at a near by hotel and walked to this restaurant one evening we were early but it got busy as the night went along. Well decorated but a little dated. Service ok, Food ok but portions a bit small. Prices a little high...for the quality of the food. Not a place we would rush back too if we were in the area.

We went for a special evening meal and weren't disappointed. The menu is very varied from very affordable burgers and pizzas to French classics like the cote de bouef. Which was tender to eat but tough to finish by two large very hungry eaters! Best...restaurant for a good meal in Chateau Gontier
