Le 2M - Réservation de table

Notre premier dîner en France lors de ce voyage et un lundi soir, il y avait peu d'alternatives à ce restaurant. Nous étions donc très satisfaits d'avoir réservé et encore plus heureux lorsque le serveur/barman très sympathique parlait très bien anglais et nous a informés... qu'il avait retenu une table sur la terrasse à l'arrière du restaurant. Le restaurant était très fréquenté, toutes les tables sur la terrasse étaient prises et les deux salles à manger étaient pratiquement pleines au moment de notre départ. We arrived just before eight o'clock, seven of us. They asked had we booked? "Non". Lots of clucking and looking in the book, shuffling of tables etc. "Oh yes" we thought, typical restaurateur, making a big deal out of it, as we could see the place was virtually empty. So we got seated and ordered some drinks, when all of a sudden there was a mass influx of customers! People arrived from everywhere, young, old, kids, teenagers the lot. The place was buzzing. And when the food arrived we could see why, it was delicious!Our waiter spoke really good English and made sure we understood the menu, very helpful and pleasant. Sélectionné par Tripadvisor, nous avons choisi ce restaurant Bar Weinbar... Parking gratuit sur la route entre 12h et 14h... indiquez la façon de vivre à la française que la nourriture est importante ! J'ai choisi le plat du jour. Bar avec safran... sauce et haricots rouges. Les haricots ne sont pas mes préférés mais malheureusement ! Bien préparés et j'ai mangé le poisson. Dessert : une magnifique coupe de fruits frais. Ma table a également choisi de l'agneau et du poulet. Les deux étaient délicieux. Seul bémol étaient les Pommes à la française. Elles étaient trop molles. Nous nous sommes arrêtés au 2 M pour prendre un verre et mon groupe de 5 personnes a partagé une très délicieuse bouteille de champagne à un prix abordable. On nous a également servi un pain plat apéritif complémentaire. Nous nous sommes assis au bar et avons dégusté nos bulles et notre collation après avoir traversé la vieille ville de Château - Gontier. La nourriture que nous avons vue avait l'air incroyablement délicieuse et le personnel était très accueillant envers notre groupe qui parlait peu français. Réservez une table maintenant

We stopped at Le 2M for a drink and my party of 5 shared a very yummy bottle of well priced champagne. We were also served a complementary appetizer flat bread. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed our bubbly and snack after walking through the Old Town of Château-Gontier.The food we saw looked amazingly delicious and the staff was very welcoming to our party who spoke little French.

This was the first place we stopped at and just for drinks and to look at the place. The beers they offered I have to say were great as they come from their outlet call V&B around the corner. We ate there on two other occasions and found the food to be acceptable as there wasn't a great selection, though the kids were happy with a bucket of moules each.

Très cosy restaurant en face du centre-ville. Nous avons pris un menu 3 plats pour 21 euros (entrée, bouteille d'eau et digestif inclus). Pour ce prix, nous avons été vraiment impressionnés par la qualité des plats. Le personnel était très amical et serviable. Une excellente recommandation pour le chef et le personnel.

Stopped at a near by hotel and walked to this restaurant one evening - we were early but it got busy as the night went along.Well decorated but a little dated. Service ok, Food ok but portions a bit small. Prices a little high for the quality of the food. Not a place we would rush back too if we were in the area. Réservez une table maintenant

We didn't book for our lunch last Friday at this restaurant, but we were early and it wasn't full even when we left.Had been told it was good and decided that the lunchtime set menu was priced just about right for what we got. Nice choices and good food, well presented.

All fine, nice meal at a reasonable price. Centrally situated in Chateaux Gortain. We ate there midweek and the place was still busy with locals, so must be good.
