There are large signs at the entrance announcing no picnics, which we understand and respect. Of course some people try anyway but some will also respect the signs and we had no plan to eat here (there is a nice picnic room literally next door). However it was a very hot day and we decided to buy a drink at the cafe before eating our picnic. We were physically prevented from entering by a rude staff member at the entrance demanding that we leave rucksacks outside (because there is food in the rucksack). We didn’t want to picnic in the restaurant because we have respect for the signage, but no chance will I leave my personal bags out in the snow with no security. If you want to enforce strict...

We had an awful experience on 15th February 2023. We were having lunch with our children. When my children (5 year old and 7 year old) returned to the dining area after visiting toilets, the manager pushed them out not to allow back into the dining area. The kids got terrified and burst out crying. My sister and her husband confronted the manager and were physically abused. My brother in law had to go to hospital for treatment after. We reported this to the police and pressed charges against them. Tourist Office of Les Deux Alpes advised that there are many complaints about the restaurant. It is not a safe place. Especially for families with children. We were horrified to be abused in day li...

Don’t go, this is the worst place I have experienced in over 30 years international travel. They take orders for food that they are unable to fulfil within a reasonable time. We unfortunately queued for an hour to order 3 x burger and fries, we then had to wait for a further hour and 15 minutes to get the food. The staff serving were rude and arrogant, when asked how long the food would be or to cancel the order for a refund they didn’t understand. However they were fluent enough In English to make surly comments and let you know that they had your money and there wasn’t anything you could do. We lost nearly half a days skiing waiting for really poor quality food (once it had arrived), like...

We stopped for drinks and a snack as a family of four. We were not subjected to a bag search as we had no bags with us snd to be fair the lady at the entrance was just doing her job as far we could see. Albeit it’s not a job anyone would want. I can see why people would bring on a picnic. There are lots of tables outside. Too many to police hence the bag check I guess and the views were spectacular but that’s were it ends! Poor service, ordered from the bar and given a buzzer, the place was not busy but it still took an age. Ordered a cheese and meat platter lefty of cheese but one tiny bread tool large fries were smaller than a large McDonalds portion according to our teen. Tiny hot chocola... Went for a lemonade, cost 10euro, you got 1.50 euro back if you took the plastic beaker back. OK fair enough, but the lady or should I say woman at the entrance, was so very very rude to people. You were told to put your rucksack to one side as you were not allowed to enter the area with your rucksack in case you dare get your own drink or food out of your bag. I totally understand the reason, but this could be enforced in a far better manner. We were a group of six, I was just waiting for the others, but due to the womans attitude at the entrance, I would not have stayed to eat with my group in the restaurant area, so they lost custom. If you refused to leave your rucksack saying you dont h...
