The gift from the house - a think piece of smoked salmon on bread had not defrosted. Still frozen crunchy. I was there at 7 when the restaurant opens so I guess this would not be an issue later on. The fig and goat cheese was a really inspired and enjoyable starter. The long cooked breast of pork was also fine. Only let down - dessert. Mango & passion fruit salad. Mango chunks from a tin. Utterly tasteless. Dominated by the taste of the syrup. Regret not sending it back.

One of the great pleasures of staying in the Holiday Inn near Strasbourg airport is the cuisine. The menu constantly rotates. Is always a joy to the eye and the palate & offers really great prices. There are always one or two guest beers to try. I had a small glass of the trappiste beer. Just enough! The slow cooked lamb on a bed of vegetables with rice was a real meal deal. Did not need to create my own meal by adding expensive sides!

Deux étoiles pour le côté humoristique. La nourriture n'était pas vraiment bonne. Indifférent au service. Mais la réaction de mon cousin à son enchilada était assez amusante.
