the winery bar is installed in an old building on the porte street of the monnaie. is a lively neighborhood with several restaurants next door, among which the tupiña, which is part of the same group. is a restaurant carried by a Basque, in the tradition of the old wineries. wine is accompanied by food, not the other way. You can order a glass or a bottle, they come from the whole region. There is an atmosphere of year in time, with lots of wood, wine cubes, hams hanging, it seems a little like a tapas bar. the place opens every day until midnight, except on Sunday, which only opens for lunch. In the menu you will find fast dishes, sausage iron, duck or duck pork, cheese iron, black paw, ove...

We stumbled upon this place on our way to Gare St.Jean and reserved the window table for an 8 pm dinner. The food was fabulous. We enjoyed the modules. They are made with broth, wine, and a bit of chorizo. The cafe gourmand is great too, especially the portion of chocolate mousse. The service was excellent, in English and French we tipped well. Thanks to the server and the cook!

We had a very good meal here after passing one evening during our short stay in Bordeaux. We were welcomed and advised on the menu in this small,old , traditional bar/restaurant. The food was local and cooked to order and was delicious. Highly recommended.

Trésor caché près de la gare de St Jean. De précieux conseils de la part du personnel sympathique sur le vin à associer aux plats savoureux, fruits de mer en entrée, burger au canard puis cannelés au rhum, délicieux !

Small and unobtrusive but a hidden gem. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is absolutely delicious and perfectly affordable.
