This is the perfect place for a splendid lazy lunch on a hot summer’s day. We sat on the sheltered terrace (covered with foliage) overlooking the square and enjoyed the most delicious lunch; traditional French food cooked beautifully and with charming service. Many local specialities. The interior of the restaurant is very pretty and there are splendid views over the valley. I’d definitely wish to try an evening meal here. The village itself is well worth a visit, a beautiful old village set in the mountains. Would highly recommend a memorable experience with a fabulous meal.

Nous avons visité ce restaurant après une recherche rapide sur Internet qui indiquait que la décoration à elle seule valait le détour, c'était certainement le cas. La nourriture était également à la hauteur de son environnement, joliment présentée et une entrée comprenant un peu de tout. Malheureusement, nous ne savions pas que le restaurant n'acceptait pas les paiements par carte et nous n'avons donc pas pu explorer davantage le menu, ce qui était vraiment dommage. Si vous prévoyez de visiter, prenez de l'argent !!

I called to ask for a menu or the carte and was told that I can't find it on line! and nothing else! so how do you know if you will be happy to eat there! and know about the prices, and whether they have vegetarian options ??? you have at least to tell people who call you what you are offering !

Gorbio vaut largement une visite et dîner à Beauséjour a été notre point culminant. Basse exceptionnelle, sorbet au limoncello et notre hôte nous ont offert une merveilleuse musique de piano.

It s beautiful, fresh, sympathetic, good, local in a so wonderful village. It s to be done, both for the dinner and the village itself
