We popped in for a salad and a glass of something cool and crisp.The first wine that we were served was undrinkable, so we decided to order a bottle of wine and just drink what we wanted and to swallow the cost of the rest of the bottle. I went in to talk to the bar man and he pulled out a bottle from the fridge and said that it would be brought out to us… although head and shoulders above the first, this, too was far from a fine wine.The food was OK, though entirely unremarkable.When the bill came, not only was the undrinkable wine still on the bill (if this has been the only error, I would have got over it), but the bottle of wine they sole me was being charged at more than ten euros more than the list price; when I went to ask about this, I was told that they had no more of the [only white tine listed by the bottle] and that this was “a better wine”… I dread to think what the other wine would have been.All in all, a very disappointing lunch.
