We had a terrific meal at Le Bistro des Fleurs. I think we got the last reservation for the night. Our meal began began with a complimentary vegetable terrine--delicious. My husband then had the three course prix fixe meal with a delicious salad for appetizer, fresh fish with a side of polenta and ratatouille for a main course and chocolate mousse for dessert. Classical french bistro with good food and wine. I have jumped in for rather quick lunch with a group of 9. They have a lunch offer with salad, bread, main course, a desert and a glass of wine for 21E - a very good price, having in mind that the mains are selected from decent dishes like tuna, steak, beef tartar and others - not a cheap ones. Après avoir lu les commentaires sur TripAdvisor, nous avons réservé ce restaurant et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Il y a un menu court de quelques plats pour chaque plat mais nous n’avons pas eu de mal à trouver quelque chose à apprécier. Notre groupe avait du melon et du jambon, du saumon fumé et du fromage de chèvre. Suivi de la morue en plat principal et de la meilleure mousse au chocolat en dessert. Sièges extérieurs et service agréable avec aide pour nos pauvres français. Un incontournable si vous visitez Vernon.
Les deux jours où nous sommes passés devant le restaurant, il était complet à 19 heures, alors faites une réservation. Un plat principal, un dessert et un verre de vin pour 21 € sont un excellent prix et la nourriture était très bonne, tout comme le service. Notre serveur a été très patient avec nous pour nous expliquer les différents éléments du petit menu.

We were delighted to come across this great restaurant while staying in Vernon. The food and service were both very good. We sat out the back, on a very pretty and quiet street. The menu was in French so we weren't sure exactly what we were ordering, but it was all delicious and very good quality. While not cheap, I'd say it was excellent value for money.
Good food in Vernon is difficult to find. Try "Le Bistro des Fleurs" on rue Carnot! This is an unpretentious place where the pretty lady cooks and her friendly husband and a good looking lad wait on you. You'll like the fresh food, simply prepared, nicely served, and tasty. Extra bonus: excellent French wines by the glass at an affordable price. Enhjoy!
Whilst staying at a very disappointing B & B in the Pacy area I picked this little restaurant from tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. We had the most wonderful meal at a fantastic price - 3 courses (with plenty of choice) for 21 euros including a glass of wine! Excellent service and a great atmosphere.
Very nice place. Good quality of food: the fish was very good and fresh. Waiter very kind. Negative points: the dessert was not so good (the creme brule was cold) and the menu was only on French.

We were fortunate to walk in early and get a table. Many tables were reserved and we saw others walk in and get turned away for a lack of availability. The food was good and atmosphere friendly.
The bistro was friendly and the selection of food was enough to satisfy most tastes at a reasonable cost. Would definitely visit again.
