Le Bistrot - Réserver une table

This was one of our favourites within Puy du Fou. It occupies a great position in a lively square close to the park entrance has an attractive Belle Époque brasserie style. Much nicer to sit on the outdoor terrace if weather allows. The menu...is uncomplicated to aid speedy turnover food was served quickly but was tasty enough decent value. Service was excellent during the busy lunch period but disappointingly inattentive when we returned for drinks later in the afternoon, staff seemed to have switched off once the main event had passed.

We had booked a set menu option in advance, when purchasing the tickets for our visit. Each course was very good and well presented, with the only downside being a couple of small waiting errors, such as not bringing cutlery for the dessert course and...struggling to produce a bill when we really needed to be on our way to the next show. In summary this was good value, tasty traditional food, served in a warm and authentic atmosphere, including an accordion player!

A plate of boiled vegetables and potatoes does not a vegetarian option make! And the attitude we received when complaining was appalling. The poor waitress was sweet but her boss would not listen. To be fair, the children enjoyed their food and the dessert was...good, but because of the poor mains and Maître d' I would never return.

At the end of our two day visit to the park we are in the sunshine outside the cafe. Service was good and very friendly. Lovely steak and the kids enjoyed their kids meals. A bit more than the buffet restaurants but good value to...end two great days!!

Fantastic decoration and the waiters so professional. They served very fast and the menu was very french.
