From the lack of hospitality to the mediocre food, our experience here was disappointing. The menu is written by chalk on a board, and the handwriting was difficult to read. The waiter read it aloud at machine-gun speed in French and was annoyed with any questions. The restaurant does not offer bottled still water, just tap water. We have been in France for two weeks and we were congratulating ourselves for not having had a bad meal. That success came to a rapid end when the food was delivered. Chunks of gristle in the under-seasoned steak, ham so tough it couldn’t be cut with a knife in an appetizer, and soggy, tasteless oven roasted potatoes. Nous sommes allés deux fois pendant notre voyage, et les deux fois nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires. Ils se sont rendu compte que notre français n'était pas excellent, alors ils ont pris le temps de nous expliquer ce qu'il y avait au menu, ce qu'ils recommandaient et nous les avons suivis. Les plats du jour étaient tous les deux d'un excellent rapport qualité-prix et délicieux. Le charme, la cuisine et l'atmosphère de ce bistrot de style ancien sont vraiment authentiques. Je recommande vivement.
Nous étions très heureux de trouver un restaurant local typique, l'ambiance était cool, mais toute l'expérience était vraiment décevante. La nourriture n'était rien de spécial, le propriétaire était arrogant, se moquant de nous et nous demandant pourquoi sommes-nous venus en France si nous ne connaissons pas la langue. Je ne le recommanderais à personne.
