We tried this having read previous reviews and were disappointed. This restaurant is bad value for money €75 for a starter 2 mains, two coffees and a bottle of wine. My main course was served at the same time as my partners starter-we had to send it back. The sea food pizza contained very little seafood, a few slices of salmon and three small prawns, in addition, the base was not cooked through. My rustic salad was the smallest I've seen and half the plate was taken up with a basket of fries -this is the first time I've been served fries with my salad. They don't even bring the bill to your table. Poor selection of local wines. This restaurant was poor value for money.
Visited this place when we were here a couple of years ago and had an excellent meal so thought we should visit again this trip. We were not disappointed, it is still as good as ever and excellent value for money. We had the pork hocks. Don't have this meal unless you are very hungry! Thank goodness we didn't have a starter and certainly didn't need dessert. The set meal of the day looked good and we will try that next time. Staff friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend a meal here.
During our two,week stay in the area we had lunch at this restaurant 4 times. Monday to,Friday lunch can be had at €12.90 for a menu including a 1/4 liter of wine pp. the starter is a cold buffet, a choice of two platters for the main course, which changes daily, and a choice of desserts. The staff is very friendly. There are more expensive menus and a choice of a la carte. This,place is packed at lunchtime even out of season. A great no nonsense bistro visited by locals and visitors alike.
A very friendly, very busy restaurant. Catered really well for our children, really generous portions, reasonably priced. Nice central location- they really looked after us and we had a smashing evening on the last night ofour holidays.

lovely restaurant food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to help you. watching on we could see how the staff helped families with children and were kind to the children and helped them choose from the menu.
