Bistrot Du Haou

A solid choice , very palatable duck confit and gambas with noodles. Great, well priced desserts, gateau basque and chocolate liegeois were huge! Steaks looked good too and neighbouring tables polished them off rather contentedly. Good service and nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Just...up from les Halles and not quite as buzzing an atmosphere and there is a little road traffic passing by the tables unlike les Halles which is fully pedestrianised. About euros for two, courses with a beer or glass of wine and coffee (excellent)

This is the second time I've been to the Bistro du Haou, just for their chiperons a la plancha (small calamares grilled simply with garlic parsley, a Basque speciality) absolutely delicious and cooked just right. Although the other dishes I saw on other...tables looked pretty wonderful too. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, the staff were attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely go back

We found this restaurant while walking through the old city center looking for some space and good food. We were welcomed very warm heartedly by the waitress. The food was delicious and the wines were very well advised. The look of the terras could be...improved, but the food compensates it all

This lovely Bistro has a warm vibe, consistently excellent food and service. Traditional french menu with a twist on each dish. Tucked up in the top end of town, it is a great place for lunch or dinner and the owners always provide a warm...welcome

Friendly staff ,really nice food, there was nothing not to like about this restaurant. Well worth a visit
