This is a tiny place on a narrow hilly street just below the square with the cathedral. Its menu is simple, and certainly not haute cuisine, but the food was fresh, the portions amazingly generous and the service very friendly, cheery and attentive. I had the large mixed plate called (I think) Assiette Festivale, which included three large slices of different cheeses, ham, salad, a generous slice of foie gras on brioche and more besides. The quality was excellent throughout. My companions had galettes. One, asked for "without the lardons, please" duly came, freshly made, with a very large amount of good melted cheese; the other, a different and meaty choice, came with the largest home-made b...
Nous sommes ravis d'avoir rencontré Martine ! En effet, sa personnalité originale et dynamique ne laisse personne de marbre. Seul bémol pour le moment, la maison n'accepte pas la CB, mais Martine prend le parti de faire confiance à ses clients, ce qui conduit à une lecture amusante des cartes postales envoyées avec le chèque manquant. La décoration vintage (années 30) et surtout TOUT est fait maison, avec des légumes et des fromages de la région (bio), sur le thème de la cuisine médiévale ! En tout cas, je le recommande !
The first thing that sticks in my mind were the hosts: they were real, authentic and highly individualistic in a positive sense. The food is good, unusual and unlike you will find in too many other places. A couple of tips: (weather permitting) book a table outside so that you get a view of the Cathedral - and definitely book a table in advance; take cash (they don't accept credit cards)
Certainly one of the best restaurant ever visited. Incredible 1st and 2nd courses made out of fresh or home made or grown ingredients. The cook comes to greet and welcome you, a tattooed experienced woman full of warmth and humour. An excellent experience. Thanks.

We had a very nice coffee there after our visit to the Cathedral. We had a nice chat with the lady as she was writing out her menu. The place is tiny but the menu looked good and freshly prepared food was bubbling away on the stove and cooking away in the oven.
Pour déjeuner rapidement vous ferez halte Chez Betty dont l'accueil est excellent ... Nous avons retenus les assiettes complétes avec entrée, plat et fromage et une tarte aux myrtilles en plus. Rien à dire pour cette catégorie de restaurant
Ce samedi pluvieux, vers 1h30, nous avons passé un bon moment. Mais rien d'exceptionnel, c'est correct, sans plus. Nous avons opté pour l'assiette avec la tourte au canard. Cependant, nous avons été bien accueillis.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille, l'agneau de la ferme était délicieux et les desserts étaient super. Nous reviendrons !
Only place in town to eat on a summer evening. Friendly host. Good crepes and dessert. Not much else to say.
