We ate here with friends and children, as a party of 8, whilst staying in Biscarrosse. We had no reservation but arrived fairly early and the waitress was able to move some tables around to accommodate us. The children's menu offered spaghetti bolognese (which was delicious) or some rolled ham slices (arrived and was rather unappetising) or a third option none of our party tried. I ate off the set menu, with a Serrano ham starter. It came with mozzarella and tomato and bread, so I assumed it would be a cold platter, but actually it was more like an open toasted sandwich. Reasonably tasty though. Then I had the tuna, which was fine. It came with an odd risotto (very bland) and a mango and lime sauce (it added some sweetness and tang so made the dish a bit more interesting). Two of our table ate steaks with chips, can't go wrong there, and another had the duck. Desserts were mostly the tea creme brûlée. Again, they were good. Overall we were happy with our meals, not blown away, but for the price they were decent. The waitress was very helpful and obliging to our English! She gave the children colouring in activities and kept checking we were all happy with the dishes. Can't fault the service at all.

Beautiful looking restaurant, however didn't feel the food matched the looks. Our waitress was great, very attentive and knowledgeable. Two of our party had moules which were nice but nothing compared to the amazing moules we'd had at Cabane de Moules. My husband had the prawns which were very tasty. The first child's meal wasn't available and the cooked ham was basically two slices of rolled processed ham and chips, followed by a small dry chocolate brownie.Good service, nice atmosphere and in a good central location.

We ended up here as hadn't pre-booked our first choice which was full and it was a busy bank holiday. I ordered the Tuna in sesame which was OK but served on what can only be described as rice pudding .... it was actually revolting with nothing else in the bowl to distract. I witnessed a neighbouring diner's disappointment at the same dish. My husband enjoyed his St Jacques, served on a fussy plate with more of the awful "risotto".

Cozy location and quite, ok service , Good fish soup, really bad crusted tuna dish with terrible Risotto, dessert was ok , overall doesn't meet expectations of a trip advisor high rated Resturant at all, over price and over rated, If you want great food in Biscarosse then go to Le Biscantu.
